Metagross might have a saintly patience and appears unbothered, but Mille frowns slightly as der partner still has yet to show up. There's plenty of good and bad reasons as to why, and Fenelle generally tries not to assume, but ... well, hopefully they would show up soon.

Hopefully also before der Dreepy would actually fall asleep - she's been really unwilling to battle so far, but Mille could persuade her with the promise of becoming stronger ... ... hopefully soon. It's kind of fascinating, actually how many dragons just start out being the absolute worst ... or it's something to balance der general might.

Eventually, the other party does appear, and Mille gives him a handwave. Then, dee takes out der phone to type into the text-to-speech, "Hello, I'm Fenelle or Mille. I'm deaf, but my Rotom here will translate anything as needed. Did something happen on your way here?" The Rotom, currently inhabiting a tablet and floating, nods, displaying and speaking, "Nice to meet you!"

The Dreepy also seems to rouse a bit, doing her best not to appear intimidated as the fight might actually take place now.

Mille doesn't pick up audible tones, but observes body language with incredible precision - however, the ease with which Yuan lies doesn't give away anything either, so dee simply nods in understanding. Dee might attempt a more skeptical approach in settings where being lied to is of more severance, but overall one could definitely describe the grunt as being arrogantly gullible - confident in der ability to figure out even the littlest bits of body language.

"I understand. I think the war efforts have everyone doubling up on training right now ... What department do you usually work at?" dee asks - Yuan doesn't appear to be part of the fighters, that's for sure. Dee frowns a bit as der Rotom transcribes a rather puzzling exchange, as dee literally might lack the necessary pieces to understand. "Uh, sure, okay, I won't mention it to ... him." Dee never knows if actually making the text cursive actually translates to anything, so dee prefers pausing.

Which might or might not appear either weird or even ominous.

"Which pokémon would you like to train? Dreepy is ready." Dee might type that, but the Dreepy actually went from slightly anxious to kinda sleepy, which is remedied by the gentlest Psychic from der Metagross. As if someone snapped nearby, the dragon type now appears more awake now.

However, der mind also unfocuses. "Not sure how I never considered Rotom for recordings before ... but now that I have one or some, I should start doing that."

Fenelle pauses for a moment. Squints a bit at the text. "What's Deedee?"

However, the following information is actually more interesting. Dee nods, reading with a very interested look, and then nods some more. "I might stop by the science department then ... I don't need any particular upgrades, but it's always nice to hang around technology. I need to upgrade my hardware skills." There is, in fact, way too much dee wants to work on than dee would ever have time for.

The following events also ... huh. Der own Rotom does translate, but now the other Rotom-drone has been ejected from its drone, and actually acts as the opponent for the Dreepy now. Well, at least now der Dreepy is actually awake. She is surprised by the sudden battle start and hit by the Thunder Wave, but tries to shake off the electricity as quickly as possible - and goes in for a swift move, using Quick Attack. However, there's some hesitation in her flight - does the move hit when she won't be hit? Questions-

Fenelle meanwhile looks at Yuan pensively. Would it be like with Mr Beckett? "How do you give your pokémon commands?"

Fenelle nods in understanding. "I see." It would take some time getting used to, but there's no helping if there's no helping it in der mind. However, much more interesting is also the prospective of seeing what Yuan does in the Rocket laboratories ... definitely something dee is interested in. "I will stop by sometime then."

The battle takes first place in Fenelle's mind then. A neutral indifferent expression is visible, but there's a slight wince as the Dreepy chooses the worst attack to start with against a ghost. And to make it even harder, she now also becomes confused. Her first battle's really not going too well, but it's just training - a bit embarrassing, but Yuan also doesn't exactly seem to care all that much ... gladly?

"What do you do then when you're in a situation where you need to battle?" dee ponders while the fight's going on. While dee does a similiar system - just letting der pokémon act independently - it's also tied with rigorous training schedules to make sure they grow still and can hold their own. However, Yuan doesn't seem to exactly follow that ethos.

Dreepy shakes herself, but it seems to make the world only spin more. Still, she does her best to focus - and now uses Astonish instead, or at least tries to. It's really hard to focus on another floating, ghostly and zipzapping enemy if you're floating out of control.

Fenelle starts looking quite interested as Yuan seems to start doing some more computer stuff - judging from his words, he might be looking into said programming right now, even if dee isn't sure if any fix would be applied immediately. There's this pair theory, but it's probably not working that well yet. And never on macro scales ... now, if they could influence the tiniest ...

Dee snaps back almost instantly, not allowing demself to be distracted too much from the ongoing training. The Ominous Wind hits the Dreepy rather heavily, and given that she doesn't really have much battle experience of anything, she also already looks almost entirely out of it. Still, she stands and Fenelle gives her that.

Breaking out of her confusion, she decides to go for an annoying move - Infestation. It's really hard to describe how the bugs look like that suddenly are called forth, dying and somehow reviving themself in the electricity of the Rotom. Truly a ghastly sight.

"Yeah, I've noticed that pokémon truly have the instinct generally ... which makes sense, given their power and wild behaviour. It's kind of fascinating to consider how we domesticated them. Or some of them, at least."
