Her response left him unimpressed and wanting. Despite his new standing as a member of AQUA, he doubted she would take the time out of her day to fill him in on anything. Penelope's distrust for him was palpable, and Remiel had tired of attempting to gain it. This outing of theirs today was little more than a courtesy as far as he was concerned.[BREAK][BREAK]

"I've run into NEON before," The Galarian confirms, raising a hand to his temple to try and stifle a migraine he could feel coming on. "Before this I saw him at the SILENT ICELANDS. He was part of the team that kept me from the LIGHT STONE." He adds, pausing as he mentally searches for something he knows he's missing.[BREAK][BREAK]

"He's a ROCKET BEAST..." Was that it? No, there had to be something else. Something more damning than that. "If it hadn't been for THEO BECKETT and some of their lesser ranks, I might have taken him out there and then. But alas..."[BREAK][BREAK]

Where had his allies been then? Preoccupied? He was blamed for losing the LIGHT STONE, but why had he been the only one to actively try and seize it? Again and again, Remiel Calcifet felt he was expected to accomplish the impossible on his own. He was growing too used to taking matters into his own hands. To punish ROCKET as they deserved.[BREAK][BREAK]

A collective endeavor was needed to shape an IDEAL WORLD. He'd pursued this standard with TEAM ROCKET for the wrong reasons. He now pursued it with the LEAGUE with little support. Was the failure with his IDEALS? Or did they simply lack the conviction that he did? Would this IDEAL WORLD need to be shaped by two hands alone?[BREAK][BREAK]

These thoughts stormed in his mind constantly.

Remiel didn't need any reminders about the councilwoman's distrust. He'd learned he'd never truly be rid of it over a year ago. But her capacity to pick through his words and come to some sort of incriminating deduction was always astounding.[BREAK][BREAK]

And, frankly, he was tired of being on this end of their dynamic.

"IDEAL, you say? Like how TEAM ROCKET managed to attack your conference? I would wager capturing all that on camera was IDEAL for you." He takes a moment to parody the thinking process, fingers gently stroking his chin as he furrows his brow. "Either you and Gunner Graves are complete imbeciles to botch the security for such an event or something else is at play here." The mockery ends there, sharply and abruptly, as he shifts a glare back onto Penelope.[BREAK][BREAK]
