"Not all," he huffs still catching his breath, "But some very much don't end worse than what we just did," he offers matter of factly as he still recalls basically 'dying in space' with @gywar. Least the simulation gives them a more relaxed scene now. One of a festival he wasn't familiar with. [break][break]

Parties weren't really his fancy as all the people pass by, with the amount there it felt a bit suffocating. Yet the other Ranger was having fun now and the Captain wasn't about to let his outlook on festivals be the downer to them. "Uhhh yes... cute...." he attempts to not sound as monotone as he usually does yet somehow he ends out sounding more so when trying to force himself not. Salem however gets in on it as the Meowstic gives mask to his other pokemon before suddenly someone bumps into the other Ranger. [break][break]

He ponders if it's some some kid as for now he goes with the other ranger's way of things and humoring them. Seering if there was another booth the kid picked out to answer the other Ranger about the mask and see if they couldn't make the most of this scenario.

It is clear over time that this is no human, but a Pokemon. However, you play along, enjoying your time with this friendly creature.[break][break]

Eventually, the Pokemon brings you to the outskirts of the festival to offer gratitude before its departure. But the good times do not last. Its crystal mask begins to crack as a TOXIC CHAIN bursts from inside it. As the scene begins to change, it swings its IVY CUDGEL at you.

Razz's monotone - from both time in the simulation and previous work done alongside him - was something El understood as normal for him, by now. They don't expect him to emote hugely - but what they do do, is try to find a mask for Razz as well! "Maybe we could find you a cool mask?"

But amidst the actual festivities... It didn't take too long, for El and co to figure out that Ogerpon was a pokemon - Bibidi's and Baron's psychic abilities a major part of what clued them in. But all the same, El didn't want to draw attention to it - as far as the Ranger felt, Ogerpon was just as much a person as any other human, and just as worthy of respect and friendship.

At one stall, offering sweets... "Here - these are really good," El knelt - offering a candy apple to the little ogre - who would accept it, to carefully munch at it under the mask.

At another, with a dart game... Bibidi would lift Ogerpon up, so that it could properly reach the counter and the targets in the back. "Great shot!" El praised with a laugh and soft applause, as one dart found its mark.

And when a couple other pokemon got a bit too curious of Ogerpon's mask, well, Baron would set firm boundaries - protecting the little one from any harassment. "You okay?" El questioned, ushering the Ogerpon to let it hide behind them.

But as the festival begins to wind down, the group ends up finding themselves at the outskirts. El smiles to the Ogerpon. "This was a great night - did you have a good time, too?"

The Ogerpon seemed to respond with a nod - and for a moment, it looked as though the little one was about to communicate something to the two... But, something was wrong. The mask would begin to crack bit by bit - before suddenly shattering, as the ogre suddenly lashed out at the group!

Baron is quick to parry the strike with his spear - having sensed the growing ill intent ahead of time - standing his ground before the Ogerpon, as a Toxic Chain wrapped itself around the poor creature. Bibidi, too, raises her guard - spoons glowing with psychic power she prepared, but did not yet release.

"Wh-what-?!" El yelps, alarmed by the sight of it all. What was going on here? What had happened?!

"Uhh sure?" he goes alone with everything as if nothing else he is used to being dragged along for things that were meant to be more 'fun.' Whether it be by Eris Halla or by Salem. Eventually he finds himself a Froakie one to wear to match Royal as there didn't seem to be any related to Salem or his preevolution. Salem seeming to cross his arms as if fully offended by the choice while Royal seems to be beaming. [break][break]

Though once the kid joins their party Razz allows himself to feel more at ease for a bit as they do their activities. Allowing the pokemon to have their fun, the new kid included as it was clear they were no human kid. Yet Razz can understand the whole wanting to blend in so he says nothing to them allowing them allow to just have fun. Salem and Royal enjoying themselves the whole time Pitch for the most part seemed indifferent though Razz did make attempts for them to have a better time along with the pokemon that had joined them. [break][break]

Eventually they follow them to the outskirts of the festival and pitch is the one most on edge as it finally reveals it's true colors as it uses a COPYCAT to strike back. Meanwhile Royal sets up a MAT BLOCK to defend the group. The battle rages on but before properly finish the simulation ends and they're back to where they should be. Thank god honestly as he is pretty sure he doesn't want to do another of these for awhile.
