Perfect. These were the training exercises that she was looking for. How could only choose one of these two to contend against? If she had the means, she'd try and test herself against both at the same time if possible. But. She could not think only of herself here. With jayden cross here, this was an opportune moment to see what the Cursed was capable of.[break][break]

A sharp whistle from him signals the start of your training. On cue, the Legendary Bird rushes onto the battlefield. Fiery black wings unfurl, glowing with eerie crimson flames that crackle and dance along their edges. Its intense, baleful gaze locks onto your Pokémon, exuding an aura of overwhelmingly sinister power. [break][break]

After taking stock of its opponent, Moltres begins the battle — not with a bombastic assault, but by opening its scarlet beak to release POISON GAS onto the field. [break][break]

It was an admirable choice, one that jayden cross was pleased with. Though it was impossible to tell as much from his stoic expression, which remained as infuriatingly unchanging as it ever did.

[break][break] But there was a slight gleam to his eye, which seemed to imply that perhaps he wanted to.

[break][break] When Admin Bee (BARNABY FINCH) appeared, however, all conversation died. Jayden's head dipped with acknowledgement at the appearance of the other.

[break][break] There is not much else to be said, especially not since the Infernal calls forth the presence of it's patron.

[break][break] Underneath the god's fiery influence, a POISON GAS quickly begins to fill the field. A hand swiftly claims the admin's mouth, as he hisses urgently at the grunt, "Nightengale, what are you waiting for?"

Project Tower: JJ#1

A normal reaction would be to be intimidated by such a ferocious creature. A Pokemon of such legendary status could only hold immense power. Power that she has never seen before. It only piqued her curiosity. And while the command to dodge came from her superior, she simply stands still as the wave of poisonous gas encroaches all around her.[break][break]

With a quick toss, her Vullaby appears, blowing a Tailwind from behind them all which redirects the poison fog back to its owner. A frown is seen plain and simple on her face.[break][break]

"What a pathetic attack, I expected something more. Is this all its got to offer?"

Though the toxic miasma proves to be an unavoidable hindrance and poisons your Pokémon, your defensive approach may in fact have been the better strategy. [break][break]

Moltres' next attack is one of its most formidable. A chilling aura materializes around the Legendary bird, wreathing it in smoldering magenta and inky darkness as it summons its FIERY WRATH. Both you and your Pokémon feel weary just being in the presence of this strange atmosphere. Having a defense prepared against this attack is a boon. [break][break]

Despite Jill Nightingale's attempts at feigning nonchalance, the POISON FOG that rolls back to it's owner has little effect. It bubbles in the air like magma, threatening once again like high tide to resurface their way.

[break][break] Jayden narrows his eyes.

[break][break] "Don't be so naive."

[break][break] Sure enough, another attack is soon to be prepped by the fire legendary. A FIERY WRATH douses the area in flame, and Jayden erects an ICY BARRICADE between them and the Galarian Moltres, though it is barely enough to avoid getting burnt into ash.

[break][break] "You have a second chance," he says to Jill Nightingale, this time his words sharp like a blade against her throat. "Don't waste it."

Project Tower: JJ #1

The small bird is clearly no match for the dark vulture, its Tailwind not strong enough to blow back any amount of the toxic wind. Coughs erupt from Jill's mouth before she covers herself with a bandana. After a moment the fog lifts and all that remains is the poisoned body of her Vullaby taken by rancid move.[break][break]

"...I now see what it is we're dealing with... These beings are no mere myth then. I will not make the same mistake twice."[break][break]

Returning her Pokemon back into its ball, she replaces it with a Galarian Corsola, the three of them taking shelter behind Jayden's wall of frost. Time was running out, the shield would not last and soon the dark wave would pierce through. In an attempt to weaken the legendary bird, the ghostly creature forms a tether to the Pokemon in an attempt to Sap any Strength away.[break][break]

"When faced with something much greater than you, it's all about debilitating your opponent until there's nothing left of them."
