In the space of time between her decisions, Jayden wonders which she will choose. The old Tori, the younger version that he was used to, would have most certainly chosen weapons. After all, it is exactly what she knows — and perhaps she will want to showcase her expertise now, even though the bonds of time have forever changed them.

In many ways Victoria was still the same cocky, rebellious girl from Kanto. But in a number of ways she had changed. It was only a matter of time until Jayden discovered the parts she attempted to keep hidden that had changed for the worst.

[break][break] "If he had his wish I'd be living in a bubble wrapped asylum." She said as she gently reached out to touch the vehicles stored in the hanger.

[break][break] "Besides," she flashed her old friend a wicked grin. "You really think we would've let me behind the wheel?" Back then Tori was already a troublesome daredevil. If she had her hands on the wheel she would've made turn gray in his youth.

Tori was always a bit of a daredevil. Danger and excitement was what she craved. It was in her nature to err on the side of recklessness, so it was no surprise they duo found themselves in the predicament they were in.

[break][break] Tori was itching to really test the limits of one of these vehicles and she had been aiming for competing against Jayden. But if someone else was brave enough to face them both...

[break][break] With a grin Tori let the engine roar to life as she shifted gears in preparation for the race.

[break][break] "No promises." Tori laughs in response to Jayden's plea for her to not end their lives early.

[break][break] Within seconds she get's the signal to start and the vehicle lurches and darts forward as she slams on the gas.

[break][break] The screeching of tires on asphalt was loud and echoed through the testing area. Tori's laughter could barely be heard over it all. And while she was driving quite recklessly with her speed, her handling on the car seemed to be on the levels of experts. It begged the question, had Tori been in this sort of situation before?

Expressionless or not, Tori was able to read her old friend by now. After the race, which had ended in her victory of course, she was nothing short of 'all grins'. The smile she flashed at her friend was by far the brightest to have been on her face since childhood.
