Circe felt herself at a standstill, an unusual thing for her normally decisive thinking. On one hand, they could toy with dangerous weapons and shoot at a variety of targets and dummies. Circe was skeptical about using weaponry for personal reasons, though she could rationalize that it would be necessary in combat. On the other, driving lessons awaited them, and their options were not limited to just cars. She enjoyed the idea of a luxury drive, but that was not what this training entailed.[break][break]

"You." She faced her partner-of-the-day, her height just meeting his with the help of her two-inch heels. "Are you good at driving?" she said, implying that she wanted to spend their time with vehicles.

Mark couldn't shake the feeling of frustration. This whole infantry training exercise felt like a waste of time to him. His talents extended far beyond the basics of weapons and vehicle operation. His true weapon was his mastery of the internet, as he was capable of wreaking havoc with just a few keystrokes. Field operations seemed trivial in comparison.

As he stewed in his thoughts, a new presence cut through his irritation like a breath of fresh air. Lush locks of mint-green hair stood out vividly against the drab training grounds. Mark's eyes followed her from her face down to her shoes and back up again, taking in every detail before finally meeting her gaze. She asked him a question, her voice pulling him out of his moment of dread. He felt a flush rise to his cheeks and quickly looked away, trying to focus on the other soldiers in the distance.

"Depends on what I'm driving," he replied, hoping to divert attention from his sudden moment of embarrassment. Mark would willingly accept anything she chose for them.

You find yourself within an expansive hangar. Parked before you are an incredible assortment of vehicles: tanks, Humvees, supply trucks, ATVs, small aircraft, and more.
