In preparation for the upcoming war, you and your team have been entrusted with the crucial task of fortifying Rocket’s defense—a complex network of tera tunnels interwoven with bunkers seized from Project Lockbox during Meteno. Hm. This was new.

It felt similar to those new-fangled technologies that were prevalent all over the place; only in this instance it looked to be tailored specifically for Rockets to use.

Which was all fine and dandy, no complaints there.

The only problem would be picking which of the two choices to go through with? Choice paralysis was a horrible thing to have, especially in scenarios such as this.

He then turned to his companion to ask der opinion.

“Which one do you want to explore? Security looks like a good, solid option.”

With the oncoming war, Fenelle can't help but wonder momentarily what might happen to Sootopolis. Or in Sootopolis - and when they'd get to crash Evergrande. But for now, they'll need to make sure that Rocket's defenses are up to date.

Fenelle's sitting atop der Metagross in an unconventional manner that should be uncomfortable, but dee doesn't seem to have a problem with it. One of the Rotom-tablets that float beside dem catches Kenjiro's words and translates them to text for Fenelle, and dee points at the security equipment decisively.

"I'm better with tech if that works for you," der signs would be translated by the same Rotom into text and robotic speech alike.

He didn’t mind having cameras everywhere; because that would be much more useful having eyes in as many corners as possible.

Soon though, they would come to another crossroads—was it just him, or did something feel… decidedly off about this place?

Thankfully he’d stopped himself from asking dem if dey heard it—he wasn’t going to make that mistake; instead he would continue in that same quiet voice, “Did dee notice anything strange?”

Much tempted as he was to ignore it and keep moving, something burned within him to take a second look and investigate what he’d noticed.

Fenelle's swift with installing the cameras following the instructions, and would help der fellow Rocket with steps if he needed any help. Dee is fully focused on the hum of the work that dee misses the strangeness going on, and only notices as Metagross pings dem that Kenjiro's speaking to dem, as well as the Rotom translating the words.

Dee frowns, having a careful look around, before tapping the Metagross for confirmation. A quick psychic sweep, and maybe ...

I was too focused on work, so no, but Metagross and Rotom agree. We should go investigate - if anything's here, we gotta know. Allowing a hole in the defenses at this crucial timing? Bad idea.

Fenelle is instantly alarmed as dee sees the invading League Agents, among them prominently also Greyson Connors, a member of the Elite Four. A tough enemy, but it's uncertain if there'd be time to call for backup. Dee reads Kenjiro's words from one screen, and Greyson's words from the other.

Yes, is the simple answer to Kenjiro while the Leagues would only see how a Grimmsnarl and a Hisuian Goodra are called onto the field - who immediately charge forward. If anything, the battle noise should hopefully be alert enough for others to arrive to the spot.

Frantically, you summon your Pokémon in an attempt to fend off the intruders. However, you quickly realize you're severely outmatched, and it's only a matter of moments before you find yourself cornered by the Elite Four's excellent fighting skills. [break][break]

Luckily, before anything can get out of hand, Beast bryan delarosa intervenes, rescuing you from what could have been a bad outcome. Together, you manage to drive the League members out of the tunnel. Unfortunately, this means that you and the other grunts have to work on re-routing the tunnel system to prevent the League from gaining valuable intel. [break][break]

You're punished for your overconfidence and lapse in judgement, as well as a lifetime of getting mocked by bryan delarosa.

His Doublade and Meganium were… well, they proved to be little match against an Elite Four member; however thankfully there was backup ready to come save them—

Maybe they’d gotten in over their heads a little too much?

“That was embarrassing, but make no mistake—those Elite Four members are in a class all on their own,” he would remark once they’d managed to get out of the particularly hairy situation.

(That came with a lifetime side of vicious mockery, but that was neither here nor there, at least for now!)

“At least we know what to avoid… should we ever run the same scenario again,” he added.
