Truly the expeditions into the deep sea below dewford were never ending, especially after the calamity that had taken place, where the island was nearly frozen over. She continued to wonder how closely related this monstrous beast below was related to Terastal Energy or Dynergy, but the only way Yuina knew how to continue to glean more information, was to continue to work on expeditions. Even if it wasn't her most favorite place in the world.[break][break]
The toxic caverns were numerous, and smothering, but Yuina still felt that it wasn't that dissimilar from being imprisoned by the toxic chain... Maybe that helped her withstand things a bit better? It would be foolish to think though, that any one person could survive for any longer than absolutely necessary. She herself wouldn't choose to stay down in the depths for any longer than she needed to, especially knowing that once their presence was known to the creatures lurking in the darkness, they would be hunted until they could escape.[break][break]
"These expeditions are not meant to be conducted alone. I wouldn't wish that upon anyone," Yuina returned to an already familiar face that she had met once before. Under far different circumstances.[break][break]
Daikenki the Samurott huffed, a snarl on his fangs as they started through the caverns, allowing Yuina to maintain her Sygna Suit. It wasn't a catch all for being able to handle being down there, but it made things just the slightest bit more... mangeable. She would be hard pressed to say anything could ever be easier.[break]
Just ahead of her, Ruza the Houndoom stalked through the toxic haze, and in a way the Houndoom seemed to fare better than most, given that she was already poisoned. The chains at her ankles dragged along the ground with her every step, and the canine lifted her head to survey their surroundings.[break][break]
"Don't push yourself, make sure to keep your breathing even and steady. There's a reason why there's so many charted expeditions here, we can't spend too much time on any one trip. Your health is always going to be more important than what we gather down here."

Ruza and Daikenki both kept a steady vigil of their surroundings, while Yuina worked on gathering a small cluster of crystals as well. Mostly though, her focus was on that of the Houndoom, continuing to study the Toxic Chained Pokémon earnestly. She seemed almost unphased entirely from the toxins of the environment, as if it were almost similar to the toxicity of the chains spread by that pokemon Pecharunt. Yuina wondered how different the two poisons truly were.[break][break]
True to form, their intrusion into the environment was treating them exactly as it always did. They were a virus intruding in the body of this giant ethereal creature, and all of the ultra beasts and other amalgamations that rested within the darkness were the white blood cells that were ready to eradicate them from the body.[break][break]
"Ultra Beasts... We don't belong in their world any more than they belong in ours. We'll just try to gather what we can before they find us, and then we can get out," Yuina returned, glancing to her two Pokémon. Through her Sygna Suit, connected and bonded with Daikenki, the Samurott barked with her intent, drawing his two seamitars and giving one to her. Ruza snarled on open maw, hackles raised as the chains around her ankles stiffened.[break]
"We'll be able to defend for long enough if necessary, but only just. Once they begin to swarm, we could easily become overwhelmed."

Things were quiet, for only a moment, as the jellyfish lofted through the ultra space beyond. Yuina clutched the Seamitar she held in her hands closely, ready, as Daikenki kept a close watch. They would run out of time soon.[break][break]
"I don't study them as closely as I do other anomalies... Things that aren't a part of our natural world, but they're formidable, and should never be taken lightly," Yuina returned, but true to form, their time was up.[break][break]
The tera crystals within the chamber began to glow, compounding the energy of the core of the beast, and as they always did, somehow, in the farthest reaches of realities beyond, they brought forth an amalgamation. A terrible creature, that would have never seen the light of day were it not for the toxins seeping out of the crystals, and it was primed and ready to attack at the behest of the darkness that loomed in every corner.[break][break]
"Tera Crystals, they manifest... anything, and everything, the energy is unstable. We just have to fight long enough for it to break," Yuina remarked, sending Daikenki forward. With his seamitar, he met blow for blow with the Golisopod, striking away the Dragon Darts the the seamitar he bore. He slashed a wave of water at the amalgamation, Soaking it effectively before he barked, fangs bared, summoning forth a series of thorned vines that ensnared the creature in Grass Knot.

True to form, at least for right then, the energy from the tera crystals did begin to break in its unstable nature. The creature they faced, marred by the holds Daikenki's Grass Knot held gave them just enough time to strike again and understand that it was time to cut their losses. They wouldn't be alone again for too much longer. The sounds of struggle, the energy of Pokemon attacks was always a sure fire way to attract... more.[break][break]
"Let's grab what we can and get out, we'll have attracted more attention, there's Ultra Beasts everywhere," Yuina agreed as Silverio started towards their exit. Daikenki and Ruza held fast for a moment more to make sure the two trainers could gather their bearings as the discordant cries of creatures from beyond their world echoed through the tunnels. They were right to escape with little time to spare.
