Healing from grief was a long and arduous process involving crying herself to sleep, only to wake up screaming in the middle of the night. After her fourth failed attempt to doze off, Andrea realized that she wasn’t getting anywhere with this. She needed to clear her head.

Visiting a place that reminded her so vehemently of Chomper might be seen as counterintuitive, but Meteor Falls, more than any other place in Hoenn, made the dragon maiden feel truly at home. If she could, she would move to these humid caves and live life as a hermit like Draco Prowler. Alas, it wasn’t so simple.

The dragon enthusiast spied with her eye an Altaria taking care of his Swablu chicks like some kind of fluffy stay-at-home dad. That cotton candy-like plumage reminded her of lam logan's own Altaria. What a Gym battle that had been, full of ups and downs.

Andrea's heart warmed up just a little, but she needed to move on. There were more sights to see. "Come on, Meatloaf, let's leave them alone." She said to her Salamence who lumbered behind her.

A very speedy Dragapult zipped past them; another memory unlocked. This time, the young woman was reminded of diving into the ethereal world with Josh Devlin and their respective Dragapults. Sadly, the dragoness could no longer soar to the heights of Mount Coronet in her Sygna Suit. That ability had been stripped from her.

"Dragons should be free to fly to their heart's content..." She wistfully mused, before moving deeper into the cave.

A tiny Jangmo-o curiously approached the costumed trainer, but scurried back to its den upon seeing the larger dragon. Meatloaf was too Intimidating for his own good.

“Looks like there are no new friends to catch today…” The draconic cosplayer sighed dejectedly. It was getting late. Checking her Rotom Phone, her face lit up. “Oh, it’s 12 AM! You know what that means, right? It’s my birthday! Happy birthday to me~!”

Meatloaf was the first person to congratulate Andrea on her special day, nuzzling his head against the girl. Perhaps she should have thrown a party, but all of her friends were busy dealing with the aftermath of the war.

Besides, celebrating publicly might have been inconsiderate to all the victims the war had left behind. 21 was not an important number anyway. Just this once, she could celebrate alone.
