Robin sputtered in the water to clear sea salt from her lips. It tasted gross, but she had had no choice but to dive in to help Dhelmise get the civilian free from a Dragalge's tendril-y poison-y appendages. With one more tug, the teenager was free to swim the dozen yards to shore. Robin huffed as she tried to catch her breath.

It was that moment she felt there were eyes on her, and she turned in the water to see Melody. "Hey," she greeted breathlessly, "long time, no see. You're here for the environment stuff too, yeah?" It wasn't as riveting as the other tasks, but there were so many hands on deck that someone had to do damage control for the environment around the sunken building.

"Of course!" Melody says with a massive grin on her face as she was delighted to see Robin again. She had remembered the girls' aspirations to beat Greyson Connors for some reason. [break][break]

She watched as her pokemon got to work as she decided to match the same amount of pokemon robin put forth. She tosses her heatran's pokeball onto her boat "This is upchuck! He'll eat anything since it all burns up anyways." she says as it looks at her and grumbles "I'll give you plenty of minerals after to make it up." she tells him as he suddenly perks up and opens up his mouth wide. She then sends out two more pokemon, her gardevoir is sent out and starts to use it's psychic energy to lift up some of the trash into a steady stream towards heatran's mouth. The last pokemon was Melody's quagsire, his task was to simply grab trash that was floating deeper in the water and lifting up to the service for Melody's gardevoir to lift up. [break][break]

They all worked in tandem with one another, they had done this many times before as Melody had often volunteered with efforts like this. "Help out her pokemon as well if you guys can, teamwork is pivotal here."

A peculiar expression crosses Robin's face. "Up...chuck? You named him Upchuck?" The Heatran is very cute, she must admit. And its maw seems capable of crunching and melting just about any hazards they throw in there. She still feels a little guilty despite hearing the deal Melody's struck with her pokemon, but she abides by it anyways. She shovels various trash and metal debris into the lava-adjacent pokemon until the unusual choppiness of the waves bothers her enough.

"Klef, go take a look deeper in the sea. I think there's trouble brewing." There would be lots of displaced wildlife because of all the drama in Sea Mauville, so they needed to stay alert.

Robin shovels another handful of gritty trash into the Heatran's mouth when she sees the first Tentacool pop out of the water and onto their boat. It lifts a tentacle for a poison jab, which Robin doesn't completely avoid; it clips her leg and leaves a toxic splatter on her skin. "Shit, there's a swarm of 'em!" Multiple Tentacool pop out of the water aggressively, some making it onto the boat and others soaring over it.

"Yeah, he throws up lava a lot so it fits." she says nodding her head as if it wasn't an abysmal name. [break][break]

As the first tentacool pops into the air she whips her head in that direction and tilts her head. Why were they- No time to think. Robin cried out in pain and Melody instinctively held her hand out and created a barrier in front of them both. They clang against the barrier with their hard head and Melody looks back to robin. "You ok?!" she asks her out of concern. [break][break]

However the realization washes over her face, war was on the brink of the horizon and she just revealed her avatar ability to robin after she decided to keep it secret besides a few people. The realization is painted on her face as it turns red and she turns around to focus on the barrier "PLEASE DONT TELL ANYONE. I JUST GOT IT. I-" she says as she starts to panic suddenly and the girl gets to see a much more human side of her.[break][break]

"DONT TELL ANYONE" she cries out as Meloetta appears by her side and giggles at the scene before them and uses PSYCHIC to push some of the tentacool back "Can you heal yourself?!"

Robin's eyes are saucers as Melody generates a shield to protect them. The champion's following freakout makes Robin's heart race, but she also feels a bit of kinship with Melody's act first, think later approach to helping people. That was something Robin felt the League was losing hold of with all the rules and the draft notice and everything else that made it harder to help whoever needed it.

Earnestly, she said, "Your secret is safe with me. I won't tell a soul." She pulled her pack aside, catching a hint of Meloetta in her peripheral vision as she did. "That's super cool, by the way." Hard to keep secret, she imagined. She pulled out an antidote. "I can stop the poison from spreading, but the acidic property of it has already caused a chemical burn."

She wasn't happy about it by any means, but it wouldn't be deadly. She would have to keep it bandaged for a week or two as her skin healed to cover the wound. She hissed through her teeth as she applied the antidote. No dying today, but damn if the missing layers of skin wouldn't suck. "I won't die," she assured as she got back to her feet. "It's just gonna hurt like hell and take a while to recover. I'm glad you didn't get hit with any of the poison."

She pulls a baton out of her pocket and with a flick of the baton...[break][break]

Several tentacool are sent flying backwards and away from them as Melody fires several blasts of music at them to knock some of them out. Her Pokémon leap into action as well, launching several ranged attacks at them as well.

Gardevoir comes over to robin coello's side and starts to use HEAL PULSE to assist with the missing layer of skin on her body and assist her with recovering quickly as Melody's gonna need her help. Quagsire with his derpy smile lifts his arms and creates a MUDDY WATER the threatens to sweep them away.

She sighed with relief at Melody's Gardevoir's ministrations. The acidic burn hurt like hell, but the healing pulse did wonders. Still, her gaze was on Melody and not her healing wound. The Champion moved with ease and pushed back the wild, angry pokemon like it was nothing.

"How do you manage to keep that under wraps anyhow?" If she could do that, she would be using it all the time. Magical powers held a lot of promise... she would like the ability to move through walls just like ghosts. It would make hide and seek so much more fun. "When did you learn you could do this stuff? Um, not that I'll tell anyone. Promise. Seriously."

Besides, if she got the ability to do crazy shit, she'd want to be able to tell people if she had to otherwise keep it secret. She needed some people to show off to, really. Klefki generated a fairy wind to assist the Quagsire in washing away the bastard Tentacool swarm.
