A crisis situation was a breeding ground for chaos, the instability and suddenness of Sea Mauville sinking into the depths was sure to attract more than just the rangers who were meant to maintain the wildlife reservation.[break]
Above, Harrow the Braviary screeched and furiously beat his wings within a cloud of smoke that came from a smoke bomb to hinder the surrounding area. The fumes began to dissipate, but only just as Yuina and Daikenki swam out from the mass, stifling coughs and trying to draw in an even breath.[break][break]
Poachers had swarmed the area, intent on grabbing any of the distressed Pokemon that they could, taking particular interest in the Clamperl that rested beneath the surface.[break]
"Ranger Higashi, requesting backup, poachers have infiltrated section four," she called over her comms through coughs, clung to Daikenki's fur, hoping that once the smoke was out of the way, and she could get a better idea of what they were dealing with.

"Ranger Higashi, this is Arbok Nine! Closing in on your position now!", Thomas called into the radio.

Thomas flew in on the back of Kalameet, his Hydreigon. The three-headed beast sped towards the Clamperl Habitat. Upon reaching their destination, the Hydreigon gave Thomas a moment to hop off of his back, before flying towards the poachers.

With a boisterous Roar, the Hydreigon immediately got their attention.

Create distractions to draw threats away from vulnerable areas.

The smoke began to clear at Harrow's furious wing beats, and as Yuina turned with Daikenki to get an eye on their opposition. Harrow remained in the air, effectively putting himself between the band of poachers and the Clamperl that were beneath the water, and Daikenki bared his fangs on open maw at finding the group of them.[break][break]
Over comms, a famliar voice and call sign came through, and not too many more moments after that a Hydreigon was facing off with Harrow in the air. The Braviary screeched, beating his wings and sending out wisps of Icy Wind to begin to combat the poachers that started to try and encroach upon the area.[break][break]
"They're after the Clamperl! We can't let them get into the reef," Yuina called, finding Thomas heading towards her and Daikenki.

As Thomas linked up with Yuina, he got the briefing from her. "Kalameet can hold them back. I got a plan to contain them, before they can reach the reef.", he told the Hisuian.

The Hydreigon joined the Braviary's efforts in forcing the poachers back. His two heads fired off a volley of Dark Pulses towards them, hammering the poachers with suppressing fire. Meanwhile, Thomas utilized the terrain to creep up towards the poachers, while they were dealing with the two flying Pokemon.

Utilize stealth tactics to avoid detection by threats.

Between Icy Wind and Dark Pulse it seemed the two Pokémon in the air were doing great work of keeping the poachers at bay, but only just. They were still looking to advance, and would make quick work of it as soon as they found an opening, but Yuina was confident that Thomas had the right idea as he worked in the cover of their Pokémon's attacks.[break][break]
"Daikenki, we have to get the Clamperl, as many as we can, we can bring them back when its safe," Yuina urged, sending the Samurott into the depths below to start ferrying the Clamperl away from the area so that they wouldn't get hurt, and if the poachers did manage to breach forward, there would be less chance of them getting a hold of any of the Pokémon they sought after.

Upon getting in position, Thomas sprung his plan into action. Thomas deployed his Galvantula. As the poachers were occupied with the Hydreigon and Braviary duo, the Galvantula crawled up the wall it ended up near. Upon reaching the ideal vantage point, the Galvantula began to fire Electrowebs at the poachers, intent on ensnaring and incapacitating them with non-fatal electric shocks.

Kalameet, seeing this, began to concentrate his fire to attempt to control the positioning of the poachers, in order to give the Galvantula the ideal shots to take out multiple targets with each shot of its Electoweb.

Keeping close to Daikenki, Yuina worked to grab as many Clamperl as she could reach in the shallows of the water, handing them off to get them out of harms way while above Harrow and the Hydreigon continued their work of keeping the poachers distracted and at bay.[break]
In the near distance, she found Thomas, knowing to look for him where the poachers didn't, and it wasn't much longer before the group was ensnared by the yellow webbing of a Pokémon that John Sullivan was fond of in particular... That was the only nicety she could afford it...[break][break]
Harrow's crest surged with psychic energy, glowing bright and brilliant as the Braviary's Psychic took hold of any of the poachers that made to run off. Together he brought them closer in order to get them caught in the webbing.[break][break]
"Do you think we can hold them until we can get authorities here to arrest them," Yuina remarked, ready to lend more hands to the effort of making sure they could keep all of the poachers held.

Thanks to further support from the Braviary, the Galvantula's task in ensnaring the Poachers was a simple one. Once they were contained, Thread leaped back down to the ground, and began binding the poachers with String Shot.

"If any of them try to escape, Kalameet will deal with them.", Thomas assured the Ranger. "I'll call it in.", he told her, before producing his radio.

"Command, this is Arbok Nine. We have a group of poachers detained, and ready for pick up.", Thomas called out into the radio.

"Acknowledged, Arbok Nine. A squad is en route to pick up the prisoners. ETA two minutes.", the person on the other end spoke.

"Copy that.", Thomas replied, before turning to Yuina. "You doing okay?", he asked her.

With ease, the yellow Pokémon detained each poacher and kept them together, and Harrow took a perch just above them to keep a steady watch with his keen eyes. If any of them made a funny move in particular, he figured between himself and the Hydreigon they may regret the decision.[break][break]
With the Clamperl safe and out of the way another sand bar over, Daikenki moved back towards Yuina as Thomas called in for their back up. Yuina tried to shake some of the water off from herself after splashing around to get to the Clamperl that she could reach, looking up to Thomas as he confirmed their arrest.[break][break]
"Yeah, I am, thanks for getting here so quick," Yuina breathed, it had certainly been a relief. Could she have taken care of all of the poachers herself? Perhaps, but the risk factor was there of not being able to watch as many of them and a Clamperl still getting caught in the cross fires.[break][break]
"Once we're sure they're in custody, we should make a perimeter sweep? Make sure they don't have a second group in the area trying to get in," Yuina wondered, and asking too if he might come along. There was strength in numbers after all.
