Cass has no idea where they are, meaning that this isn't a past of hers - which is a relief. She isn't sure what she'd do if the other ... well, most of her moments are fairly standard, if she thinks about it. There's just family business that would've been really awkward ... but like this, she can just focus on the older woman.

"What do you- What is this here?" she asks, unsure what those eggs might hatch ... though their design are perhaps familiar. Then, the danger of this past also catches up to her. "What in the-" A Hydreigon that gives the drei in its name a glorious paint. Three types all in one, and it's- it's locked onto them?

Hastily, Cass scrambled for her Trubbish Jon. "Protect!" she calls for him, before trying to gesture for the ranger captain to move. "Where to- is there anywhere?" she asks. The last time she "died" in the simulation, she merely woke up, but she really didn't want to test her luck now while Jon's holding up the fort for the brief moment he can.

Shalin Nariya

There was nowhere to go. Nowhere to run. Shalin and her Pyroar, Kiara, were trapped in the bowels of the Halls of Origin beneath Sootopolis as the Hydreigon spewed deadly cones of fire, cold, and electricity at the duo. The lioness bellowed as a flashback of the girl cracking a Z-CRYSTAL played before Cassandra Kubrick and Shalin Nariya . The cacophonous yet regal Z-MOVE: EMPEROR'S ROYAL ROAR was the Pyroar's last stand, inspiring her allies and frightening the behemoth of a dragon. It was too late; the elements headed toward Kiara mixed violently, creating a multi-type explosion that took both combatants with one another.

"This is how... one of my most precious Pokémon... was taken from me..." Shalin slowly explained as the two eggs near her began to crack. Olivia the Buzzwole and Nymris the Pheromosa had been born, but they were little consolation for the courageous and playful feline that sacrified herself in their name.

As the Pyroar defies the multi-typed Hydreigon (actually, just more-than-usual-elements - it's already dual anyway), Cass comes to a realisation after frantically looking around. There simply isn't an exit - and given that they've already went through two other simulation, this one's also the last. There's no clearance condition that they've yet to meet.

Oh man, she really doesn't want that.

But that teen defiance is chilled quickly as the Hydreigon strikes the Pyroar down, despite the brave last stand she made. A shocking visual that Cass witnesses here, and Shalin's words add to it. "I'm very sorry," she says, her mouth dry. Maybe a childhood memory of hers would've been better - that stupid time she didn't understand the concept and design of clothes, or something like that.

"It's- we're gonna figure the way out," she reassures then, though it's probably more directed towards her as the Hydreigon turns their attention to them now. Eyes devoid of anything, simply following protocol ... maybe where the simulation shows. "... one way or another, I suppose."

"It's okay," Shalin responded just loudly enough to be heard over the cacophony of the emboldened Zeraora pouncing the Hydreigon with a flurry of POWER-UP PUNCHES. One, then two, then three heads slam into the ground. "Don't worry about it," Shalin reassured Cass as her eyes briefly shifted toward Savanna and the fallen Pyroar's body. "This was from over a year and a half ago. But why would the RKS Simulation show us this now?"

The sound of cracking eggs would catch Shalin's attention, and possibly Cassandra Kubrick 's, as well. Were they to tilt their heads toward its source, they would be able to see two Ultra Beasts, a Buzzwole and a Pheromosa, crawling out of their shiny-looking natural prisons. As they skittered and danced toward Shalin and Cass, the simulation would fade to white, and the two would wake up from within the League's simulation pods...
