Where the runed Pokémon braced its body and prepared to protect its trainer, another forcefield was cast to combat the swinging axes that threatened to make contact as a Light Screen bolstered the efforts. Thudding, cloven hooves rushed over the grass as a Wyrdeer bounded forward, horns glowing with psychic energy as the deer stood just beside the Runerigus.[break][break]
On the ground where Robin lay, a Sneasler leaned down and looked to scoop up the fallen girl into her arms, they needed to get out of the immediate line of attack while they had the spare opportunity, and if allowed, the poison type made quick work of carrying the girl out of harms way and towards another trainer that was tucked within the trees off to the side.[break][break]
"Robin! Robin, can you hear me," Yuina breathed as Nyla let her down towards the ground, she was already covered in blood...

Standing with the Runerigus, Ayashi huffed with great breaths as his hooves dug into the ground. The golden glow, the emanating power... He hadn't felt anything like in such a long time... But there was no way it could truly be the lord of the forest? It was impossible...[break]
The only thing that he could do was assure the ghost that they could tend to it together in its rage... To protect their humans.[break][break]
On the ground with Robin as Nyla moved carefully to set her down, Yuina gingerly reached out to prop up Robin in her arms as she blinked up at her, faint words, but words nonetheless... She was alright. Yuina heaved a breath at seeing her conscious now, though it was hardly a time to celebrate as the Kleavor bellowed in the near distance, a reminder of its presence as it continued to exert its power at the Pokémon that dared to challenge its territory.[break][break]
Nyla hissed with bared fangs, ears flat as she too felt an intimately familiar belonging with the Pokémon, but in its rage she wasn't going to sit by and let it hurt anything, so the Sneasler rushed forward too to help.[break][break]
"Don't do too much, it looks like your eyes can't even stare straight ahead...," Yuina was concerned, she needed more than Yuina could offer in that moment... But she did have help at least... There was a green flicker, and bright blue eyes blinked beside Yuina, glancing at Robin. The small sprite Celebi flitted forward and reached out for one of Robin's hands before offering Life Dew that seeped into her skin. It wouldn't be a cure all, not unless Celebi exerted more of his power, but it should help get them through this and to safety...[break][break]
"There's nothing wrong with it... What's wrong is why its here," Yuina offered first, glancing out again to the familiar golden glow... She still couldn't believe it...[break]
"We've challenged its territory, it isn't going to stop, we have to get out of here."

Glancing again as Robin was able to sit up that much straighter, a bit more focused, Yuina was thankful... She looked to the sprite Celebi that flitted again closer towards her, his blue eyes cast out to who she would recognize as the champion of the forest, and she wondered... Could he understand too that they weren't supposed to be here?[break][break]
Yuina bristled first as Robin was more than certain that there was in fact something wrong with the Pokémon, the misunderstandings that could easily be turned to fear, hatred... She'd seen it too many times. But it wasn't Robin's fault, it was no one's fault that it was all from such a far away, long forgotten place...[break][break]
She had a myriad of questions though, as Robin always did, and for that Yuina at least breathed a sigh. That meant that she was at least alright enough to act a touch like herself, and questions meant an opportunity to look for understanding.[break]
"It's not aggressive, whatever has happened its not its fault," Yuina defended first though, she was adamant in this, the Pokémon had done nothing wrong.[break][break]
"It's not illumina either, that I can prove," Yuina remarked, though it was almost to say that there were perhaps... other things she couldn't quite prove.[break]
"This is a radar that draws its reading from high influxes and concentrations of Infinity Energy," she spoke as she drew out one of the pieces of equipment she had with her, and for everything that was going on, the Kleavor continuing to cull through the landscape in the near distance, the readings remained stagnant at a low level as all life contained some amounts of Infinity Energy. She pointed the device at Celebi, it fluctuated a bit, as the Pokémon had a slightly higher concentration of infinity energy, and then she looked out and pointed it at the Kleavor, and the same result as she saw before... It fell entirely, not a single trace of infinity energy...

Where Ayashi and Nyla continued to keep the Kleavor at bay, nimble and quick against its lumbering physical assaults, Yuina looked on in intense study... She still couldn't believe it, and just wanted to know... Why?[break][break]
"I... I have some theories, but I can't prove anything, not yet," Yuina returned, she was going to find out, she was going to get to the bottom of this, she'd already started drawing out the oldest books she had access to and then some, outsourcing to other Sinnoh scholars and collections to conduct research and study... And then, just when Robin wondered what it was they were supposed to do to take care of the Kleavor, just as she had watched before... With a final surge of its power, it dispersed into a brilliant flash of golden light. And vanished. Proving again that it had never really been there at all, save for the gouges that held their place in the grass.[break][break]
"Just like the last one I found..."

The pokemon was gone... Vanished to the light that it was bathed in, and Yuina's contempt was clear. Every single time she found one, every single time she got close enough, they vanished and always left her with more questions than answers...[break]
Ayashi and Nyla kept a close watch, surveying the area in its disappearance, just to make sure that nothing else would come... But it seemed all was still and quiet for now.[break][break]
"I... I'm not sure about ghosts, they shouldn't be ghosts, they shouldn't be here at all...," Yuina muttered, drawing out some of the equipment that she kept in the bag at her side. No signs of the energy of a distortion anywhere... Except for herself...[break][break]
"In the culture of Ancient Sinnoh, its believed that the gods once blessed a chosen set of Pokémon with their power. It was described as golden light raining down from the sky, and those Pokémon were to become the protectors of humans and the Pokémon of Hisui," Yuina explained, her theory that she had no other basis on save for the fact that she had once seen the Lord Of The Forest herself...[break]
"But it's all based in mythos and the belief system of Sinnohism... I-- It doesn't make any sense as to why or how those Pokémon could be here, but not..."

After surveying the area, Nyla and Ayashi had both moved back towards Yuina where she remained with Robin. The sprite Celebi flitted through the air, just looking over the two Pokemon quickly to ensure they were alright while Yuina began to pack up the handful of pieces of equipment she had drawn out.[break][break]
"No... There's not a way to test anything, not if they keep disappearing like an apparition...," Yuina agreed, unsettled, discontent, but she glanced at Robin all the same with understanding. She wouldn't question it, if she could call on Robin for one thing or another. They hadn't necessarily crossed paths too many times, but... Robin was as tenacious as she was inquisitive, Yuina would believe that wholeheartedly.[break][break]
"Uhm... let's ask more questions later, we should get out of here before another apparition might appear," Yuina hurried, glossing over Robin's query. Sure, there might be other historians interested in the culture like she was, but she was certain no one else could claim first hand experience with the translations she was working on... She didn't want to rock that boat just yet.
