Approximately one month had passed since Petalburg had fallen, and there had been no leads on the missing Captain's whereabouts. By now, Rocket had learned much about the workings of her unique Sygna Suit, mostly through dorian westcliff .

She hadn't seen any of her Pokémon, either. Were they still alive and being fed? Where was Queen Zing's Mega Stone at? Her thoughts rushed back to Lathiel's creation, dreading that Rocket was performing similar experiments on her most precious partners. With not a single outside window in her underwater prison, her sense of time had been completely distorted. How many days had passed? Was she even sleeping at the same time every day? It was impossible to tell, what with being surrounded by black walls, a single light, and a single monitor for much of her evening...

The guard at the front of the cell block looks up as the woman walks in. Calpurnia doesn’t even glance at the guard as she scrawls her name across the paper in sapphire ink. The woman presses so hard, that the imprints of the ‘C’ will be there for weeks to come. The time is a sloppy estimate. “Move, you troglodyte!” Kelpie’s voice is authoritarian; the guard obeys before he even processes what was said.

Purrseus follows at his mistress’s heels. As always, he’s the picture of pride.

CLANG! The scientist slams her hands into the bar of Shalin’s cell. The vicious look in the scientist’s eyes is dangerous. It wouldn’t be hard to believe she once brought a Champion to heel (twice, no less). Clutched in her manicured nails is something familiar: Shalin’s sygna suit. “WHAT is this?” If Calpurnia had hackles, they’d be raised.

The female's voice snapping at her sounded all too familiar. The purple hairdo and prissy demeanor seemed all too familiar. Though she couldn't put a name to the face, she was familiar; one of the faces she had ran into when she was deployed to the Terastal island north of Dewford shortly after becoming Rustboro's Captain.

Notmally, she would be one to celebrate upon finding out that her Sygna Suit was intact and seemingly unharmed. It was in the Flygon mode, the mode it was in at the end of the Petalburg battle. As tempted as she was to reach for it, the suit was completely useless without her Pokémon: Saria the Venusaur and Sandy the Flygon.

"What, you've never seen a Sygna Suit before?" she asked Kelpie.
