He hums in a bit more thought as he keeps trying to rack his brain and he thinks of the bulbasaur. "The pokemon I have are all pretty obedient, Bulbasaur I think more on your orders than my own," he notes, "Maybe showing you I can handle something tougher?" again answers more in the form of a question than an actual answer. Though he's not really sure where he would get a 'tougher' pokemon.

He's silent at first, clearly wanting to say something but is struggling. Opening his mouth before closing it several times, speaking his mind wasn't easy for him. Once again he has to remind himself where he is before he is finally able to reply back, "Agree to disagree with that sir, I'm years behind everyone else because of the memory loss, my hand is still shit, and I'm having to rebuild from the ground up because I don't have any of my old pokemon," he list half of the reasons he should be in doubt. "I've never even been one of your best students either, so no offense sir, but I have every reason to doubt." [break][break]

The young man does perk up a bit when a pokeball is offered. He was surprised that his merely asking had worked but he is quick to nod his head. "Of course not sir! But I thank you for the opportunity you're providing," he says as he bows his head in thanks before walking toward to retrieve the pokeball. The young man would've looked at him to be sure it was okay to open before releasing whatever it was that was inside.
