Before Fenelle could grab the phone and drag it away so dee wouldn't have to deal, it's already out of reach and Vespa has also seen them already. Maybe dee really should start working on becoming less noisy, even if it's really hard to do when you have no idea what any of this does and mean. Still, now that they've been found, dee puts on a faint smile as dee approaches with a leisurely wave of der hand.

And immediately, dee is a bit dumbfounded. So it's ... another situation of being too broke for the ferry. Dee sighs as conversation is made with the Poryphone and Vespa while taking out the necessary amount of coins from der loaded pockets. There's a cling-cling that the Gimmighoul gladly seems uninterested in.

An image is displayed by Porygon instead of a verbal reply, before also putting up the image of a Milcery in what appears to be a sweets factory. Seemingly, it also got some sponsors for its gacha addiction, too ... and Fenelle wonders why dee even brings der pokémon to such events still.

However, it's time to board the ferry now, and dee notices ... there's a Dusclops that wants to smuggle themself onto the boat as well !! Quickly, dee has thrown a pokéball because dee would not pay more for the ferry than is absolutely needed.

Fenelle blinks with compassion and a friendly nod at Vespa's words, managing to put away the feeling of exhaustion dee already feels. It seems like wartime really wears on der ability to keep that civilian persona going - it's less of a game and more of a chore, but dee should be better at chores ... ... anyway, dee actually seems to wait for a moment for the pokémon to also thank dem because that's a whole lot of coins.

However, a romantic distraction comes and ... wild. Dee hasn't ever considered romance unless it's in a fake context, but even dee can see something ... odd going on. At least it's quickly passed - and actually gave dem another opportunity to have a look, seeing a Gallade that's training just a bit off ... and discreetly, caught into a pokéball that der Ralts slips into der bag.

At Vespa's words, the Poryphone beeps excitedly, and one of the autism gang steps up, too - a Milcery that's looking quite content with herself, and exitedly gestures for the Poryphone to show another picture. "Someone else started gambling, at least for one figurine." It's a pretty sick looking sword from a weapons collection.

Milcery actually replies by chirping at the Poryphone, gesturing for it to swipe to another picture. Given the time spent together, the Porygon nods in understanding and displays something else - a cake with a quite empty top. "We're gonna use it as cake decoration," Fenelle also helpfully explains, doing der best not to appear too bothered by this whole gacha talk.

Der attention is, however, focused more on their surroundings as they cross the river once more. Where to, dee wonders, but not for long as something else catches der attention.

While Vess is showing off her pulls, dee notices a Toxicroak struggling in the waters ... apparently she had tried to cross the river all by herself, and is so close yet so far ... after a moment of consideration, dee throws a ball towards her, one that would then be fetched by Magnemite. Maybe that daringness could come in handy ... but oh damn, there's also a shiny Greavard.

The Milcery hasn't thought about that, actually, but now that Vespa mentions it, she twirls excitedly - so excitedly yet so slowly. Fenelle looks at this whole spiel with, in fact, exasperated fondness, though it disappears quickly to make way for something replacably amicable. "Seems like she likes the idea a lot, so we'll do that. So we'll need to make it look like a stone."

Which is actually more interesting than just the usual cake.

While Vespa and der pokémon are talking Gachapon, dee only half-reads, more focusing on the pokémon around them ... but not enough to catch glimpse of the shiny first. It feels odd to them to make conversation with the ferryman, but the Ghimmighoul actually seems to shrug, as if to say it's an occupational hazard to encounter these.

"Seems like there's quite some ... though I think these are looking fine," dee mentions, then points at a Sinistea and Golett duo. Though the Golett also appears trapped on a rock and the Sinistea rather distressed ... and both of them do not pay attention to them, so Fenelle decides to give it a try and capture the Golett, help it out as one will, but ... it lands on the Sinistea instead. "Oops."
