wheeling lucas lane through route 116. cait allowed for the professor to borrow her gym trainer, dawn grandier. so far their travels were going okay. there were a few bumps and accidental thuds every now and then, but dawn made sure to keep the professor steady. rumor had it that his machoke was on vacation, which was odd considering pokemon didn't exactly take vacations without their trainer. "let's catch a lot of pokemon, mr. lane!" dawn uttered ecstatically as he steered the wheelchair bound scientist.

"Should we really be catching pokemon right now? I just think my wheelchair is gonna slow me down if we have to run from something." Lucas Lane felt like he was being taken advantage of while being in his wheelchair. Like people were taking him places he didn't want to go since he couldn't walk away from them.

in the middle of lucas speaking, dawn was too busy driving a little too fast. in the middle of the road, due to lucas's body being in the way, he would come to run over a slowbro and kecleon. both were in the middle of the road, they were fighting over an apple, and was it his fault? debatable. lucas lane was had just as much as a hand in this unfortunate incident then dawn.

"oh no!" dawn halted and turned the professor's chair around to the unconscious creatures. "we ran over some pokemon, we should catch them and get them treated!" a sound suggestion, he would quickly take out a pokeball in order to catch the slowbro and restore to full health later. "i think it's important we catch pokemon right now, they need us professor!" more like they were endanger.

"Slow down a bit there's some pokemon up ahead" Lucas says as the pokemon come into view. "Come on, slow down already." He could have sworn Cadis began to push him faster. "Stop, just stop!" Lucas words are said in vain as he collides into the two pokemon, which sends him sprawling out of the chair. [break][break]

"God stop means stop!" Lucas pushes his upper half up. "Look at what you've done." Reaching into his pocket with a scuffed hand he takes out a pokeball that releases ditto. It immediately becomes a doppelganger of Cadis von Klaussner in every way but his face. It reaches out a hand to the scientist and proceeds to help him back into his chair. Something it'd become very accustom to since machoke's vacation began.[break][break]

"Let's just bring them back to a pokemon center. Don't know how hurt they are." Lucas tries to excuse himself from spending anymore time with the gym trainer. He taps the unconscious kecleon with a pokeball while ditto takes the reins of the wheelchair.

"you're being such a baby." he didn't expect lucas to be such a difficult fellow. dawn assumed he'd appreciate the speedy drive, "fine, professor. you're the boss, i'm just a simple helper." a simple shrug, he'd say, "lead the way since you're the expert. i only came because cait asked and i thought finding pokemon would be a great experience." flailed arms, dawn would add, "this trip's only just started and you're already complaining!" it was then their conversation would come to be interrupted by two new pokemon!

The lycanroc makes quick work of the Dottler. Razor sharp rocks propel from its mane at high speeds as it unleashes stone edge. One wedges itself just underneath the dottler and manages to catch the bug off balance. With its stomach exposed the wolf pokemon releases another volley of stone edge at Dottler's exposed underbelly.

"oh!" a munchlax appeared, "let's get him, gallade!" calling out the dual-type, he would utilize close combat upon the pokemon. a pokeball was thrown with the attempt to capture it, "let's go, pokeball!"
