Adal was never quite as comfortable in his luxury ball as he was out in the wild. It showed in the way he moved, despite his seemingly perpetual stoic expression. In the wilds of the forest, he was as natural as any mountain, lake, or tree.

Remiel made sure to keep up as his wolf explored the area ahead of them thoroughly, looking to root out any Eevee they could find. Its alpha had returned for the third, and final time, this season. He needed them for their unique genetic properties in the lab.

The Applin sunks it eyes and tail into the shelter of its apple when Adal managed to dig it out of the bushes. Sinking its teeth into the apple, the Lycanroc would shake it around a bit in an attempt to throw the wyrm inside it out. But, when that failed, it would immediately lose interest and toss said apple away.

After the wolf left, the Applin would slowly peek out until Remiel passed by. The young royal regarded the bruised apple with an indifferent look. But, before long, he lost interest as well.

Finally, the hunt was on.

Having discovered a hole in the ground, Adal had been successful in scaring the Eevee hiding within it out. The chase was on as it scampered through bushes and over fallen logs. But, compared to the Lycanroc's speed, it was no match at all.

Adal pinned it down with its claws in a tumble, snarling over its face as it whimpered and struggled to get away. Within moments, the Lycanroc's master would appear with a safari ball in hand. The Eevee would allow itself to be caught if it knew better...

Adal was, naturally, a carnivore at heart. So, when he came upon a Budew sprouting out from the ground it had dug itself in, it hardly bothered to sniff it before moving along. Budew were known to unleash plumes of paralytic, poisonous, or even sleep-inducing powder at times, however, so he knew better than to disturb it.

Remiel, too, noticed the Budew as he passed shortly afterwards. Though he was far less worried about the prospect of it unleashing some sort of crippling powder. It was evident by the size of it, and other distinguishing features, that it was an adolescent and incapable of doing such things... for now.

Eevee's sure knew how to Run Away well.

This one, in particular, nearly lost Adal after it crawled quickly through a fallen log and entered a secret tunnel near it. But the wolf would not lose its prey so easily. Using its Odor Sleuth, it managed to find the exit before casting Stealth Rock just past it. And, unfortunately for the Eevee, it fell for it.

Injuring itself with a sharp rock and tripping over its feet, the Eevee struggled to get back up and keep moving before it was struck with an Accelerock from the Lycanroc. The attack, far too overpowered for such a small creature, sent it flying into the greenery nearby until it landed in a small grass clearing. Unconscious, the Eevee was helpless as the predator's master sauntered up with an empty safari ball.

The Chansey freezes when she sees the intimidating predator approach her from out of a nearby bush. Adal saunters to the caretaker without an ounce of caution or fear, stopping just a foot away before leaning forward to sniff the egg against her belly. Dissatisfied by its scent, however, he huffs... then walks away.

The Chansey relaxes a little bit before turning around to see the wolf disappearing through the bushes on the other side. When she hears its master approaching, however, she jolts to attention before scampering off. Quick and elusive, Remiel doesn't even see her when he finally emerges.

The next Eevee anticipated their arrival. But rather than try to run like the others had, it stood its ground against the much larger and deadlier opponent. Even as its body was strengthened by a red aura that surrounded it like a Curse, however, Adal was unperturbed.

The wolf charged forward with a vicious snarl, attacking with an Accelerock that absolutely overwhelmed the Eevee as it tried to desperately fight back with a Bite. Its fangs found nothing but the density of the wolf's rock hide, however, and soon it was shaken around like a rag doll in its mouth before falling unconscious. When it awoke again, it would find itself in a safari ball.

It isn't on their list. In fact, they've already captured one prior. But Remiel simply can't pass up the scientific uses. If the other one perishes during experiments, it would behoove him to have another.

So he sends Adal to capture it as it attempts to fly away. The wolf expertly leaps onto a nearby tree branch, then pounces on it in mid-air. It manages to snag its wing with its teeth before landing on all fours below. After shaking it around and dropping it on the floor, Remiel simply walks up to it and presses his last safari ball against it.
