Dragnor held many challenges, and that was precisely the reason she was here. The infinite tower seemed an excellent place to test her skills and collect rare loot. Surely, here, of all places, would reward her with the good stuff.[break][break]

Regardless, there was no turning back now. She'd managed to climb a decent amount of floors despite its infinite setting. She was tired but not unprepared. The mage was ready for whatever might come her way.

She wanders aimlessly for a moment, only realising that something had changed when her heels stop clicking against the stone floor. Instead, the further she walks the faster she realises how exponentially difficult its become to proceed. [break][break]

One shoe completely pops off and she stumbles, flabbergasted.[break][break]

"What the--"[break][break]

Her words are cut short when some adorably disgusting Goomy comes out of nowhere. The mob spawn hits her square in the chest but the force of his attack allows her to step back neatly into her missing shoe.[break][break]

She blasts the ground with a layer of ice, breaking herself free of the gooey trap, before turning her attention back to the Goomy. [break][break]

It seems it had been caught in the crossfire, stuck to the ground it slimed across. While not frozen solid himself, he's definitely not able to move away from the second blast that ultimately destroys him. [break][break]

"Well, that was easy."

The Goomy leaves behind loot, and just as she kneels down to grab it does someone else arrive. [break][break]

The Zweilous grunts and sniffs, stumbling in blindly in search of its prey. Stormy side-steps the Pokemon, narrowly missing her ankle being swallowed whole. The spawn performs an intimidating SCARY FACE, momentarily stunning the mage into clutching her wand for dear life.[break][break]

She snaps out of it just in time to watch the dragon lunge at her with a full-bodied SLAM.[break][break]

Fortunately, a well-timed FREEZE-DRY stops the attack from ever reaching her, as the dragon explodes into a thousand pixelated shards of ice.

Cotton down falls on her head as she makes her way to the end of her path. She can see the campsite to save just up ahead, but it appears that someone has arrived to prohibit her safe return.[break][break]

The moon appears out of nowhere, a beacon in the sky. It comes down hard on her shoulders with incredible power, knocking her flat on her ass. The Altaria's MOONBLAST knocks the wind out of her, and she only narrowly misses his DRAGON PULSES. They carve out the shape of her face as she rolls out of the way.[break][break]

A CALM MIND helps her focus her thoughts, steady her motions. She turns quickly, blasting the Altaria first with a MYSTICAL FIRE and then, when the bird breaks through it virtually unscathed, she blasts a weakened FREEZE-DRY from how frequently she's already used it.[break][break]

Panic begins to set in as she struggles to get back to her feet. She keeps the bird at bay by keeping up her wall of fire, but it's only a matter of time.[break][break]

She screams, pushing all of her remaining energy into attacking the Altaria with the last reserve of her FREEZE-DRY. Thankfully, the dragon collapses and disappears into pixels, leaving behind more loot.
