Alec had stood in the center of the Arena in the very center of the Pugilis Kingdom. He had messaged selenatheteenagewitch Asking her if she had wanted to have a one-on-one battle in the arena. No interruptions. No other players. No help. Just them fighting each other to the death. The Demonic Mage had not actually fought Selena yet, however, he knew that she could hold her own in a battle. It was too enticing to pass up. Also, the Demon in waiting had believed that the female mage had also been wanting to fight him as well.[break][break]

And so, he was their, waiting for her. He had nowhere to run, and nowhere to hide. That's how he liked it. He stood their, using his Calm Mind spell and just as he had opened his eyes once the spell was complete, The female mage would soon appear. "I figured you would come," was all the demon mage had managed to say. He had not made the first move however. Even though he was a Demon, he was not without good manners. He would let the woman go first in this dance to the death.[break][break]

Selena was donning the same outfit as when she first battled tooth and nail with the demon mage and ultimeiete and manofsteal. The difference was instead of the wand that she once used, she's now wielding a rapier. At the tip of the blade, a gemstone was carefully placed. The source of her power.

Alec addressed the witch with his sinister, demonic voice as she was descending the stairs of the coliseum. The arena comprised of a large stadium; it walls were high, protecting the AI audience for the imminent intensity of the battle. Selena thought it was useless - a battle of mages would have meant the use of the surroundings - but she did not bother questioning it.

"Stop that." She laughed off at Alec whom she thought was trying to intimidate her. Being with him several times already in the world of virtual reality, Selena could tell she was already growing fond of him. "We all know who's going to win this battle anyway."

She noticed an air of energy surrounding the demon mage, but he was not yet making any move to attack her. She deemed he was waiting for her to make the first turn.

"May I?" Selena positioned her rapier in-front of her. Contrary to her first CALM MIND animation, now she did not need to say anything to do the command. She just need to push the first button in the controller. Apparently, adjusting the appearance of her wand also means adjusting how she uses her spell. It proved efficient for the witch for it means she did not have to reveal all the tricks in her arsenal out loud.

Purplish wisps of energy surrounded her, and she's now ready to strike.

Alec smirked lightly and said, "You're right. I just get so used playing in this character." Alec had said. When Selena had finished with her Calm Mind spell, Alec had begun to quickly make his assault. He had figured she would do the same - boost up her special Attack and special Defense Stats like he had done. Alec's first attack though, wasn't probably what Selena had expected it to be. Normally when he had used Calm Mind, he would have used a long-ranged spell to attack, however Alec knew better than that. If he remembered correctly, Selena had a very special ability known as Ice Scales, which had prevented her from taking extra damage from special moves, like Alec's so instead of a long-ranged assault, he'd go in with a Zen Headbutt, since it not only did physical damage, but also was boosted by his very own Sheer Force Ability. As he had quickly broke into a sprint, an aura had appeared around his body, hoping to collide with the female witch head-on. [break][break]

This had proved that he not only had thought ahead, but he wasn't going to make it easy for her either. This was going to be a battle of who would be able to outwit and last longer.[break][break]

The battle of mages is also a battle of resourcefulness. Alec and Selena were not the ones that fought in Spectra before. In-game speaking, they have both matured and strengthened in skills, wisdom, and power.

"I know you would do something like that." Selena reassured Alec that she came prepared in battle. The crystal on her rapier glowed in rainbow colors before she positioned herself to blast the approaching demon.

It is obvious that Alec would try to deviate from the mage's ways of long-range combat. Selena got the idea from when they were doing the egg mission together, if his appearance did not prove it enough. But Selena knew how to refute his strategy with a burst of AURORA BEAM.

Alec had smirked at Selena's statement as he had charged her. His attack had collided with his designated target, only for her to slide back, firing off her Aurora Beam right at Alec. The Demon mage smirked, quickly using his Calm Mind spell to increase his special ATK and special Defence stats once more as a way to mitigate the damage taken, as well as increase his own power. The pain from blast had subsided as soon as it came over him, like a small wave. Alec looked at his health bar with a quick glance, seeing that it had worked. [break][break]

"I see you've gotten stronger," Alec had grinned, his tail unwrapping from around his waist, slowly swaying in the air behind him. "I'd stay on guard though because ... I've gotten a lot stronger we had last met," The demon had smirked from ear to ear. It may have seemed like he was being nonchalant about what he said. However, he was being absolutely serious. If Selena made one wrong choice, she would end up as Alec's next victim. [break][break]

Selena knew there would be more time later to catch up with Alec for the increased boost of CALM MIND. Right now, she knew it was the ideal time to set up a trap for her adversary.

"Not stronger than me, sweetie." As the demon mage continued boosting his attack for and defense against special-type moves, Selena raised her bladed wand and a ball of fire conjures upon its crystal. "Looks familiar, isn't it?"

By the time black_heart32 was finished with his fortification spell, the witch's ball of fire was already half the size of the arena. Selena clicked on the third button of her controller. The fiery sphere compressed in size: its impact would be unleashed as it connects with its target.

The INFERNO will unleash hell to Alec. The impact may not be as strong as what she had expected, but it will surely give him an early taste of defeat.

Alec had a smirked at Selena and said, "Doubt it." That was when she had conjured a ball of flame the size of the arena, and then compacted it down. "Impressive, but not nearly as strong, my dear." Alec had said with a maniacal grin. He stood there as the ball of flames hit him, causing it to be expanded. He took the burn from the attack, seeing the status infliction right next to his Health Bar, which had made drop down some, but it was still in the green as he had expected it to be. [break][break]

The flames were as tall as the arena's walls, however it seemed to be under control rather than spread. Alec had shot out of the blazing inferno wild eyes that the intent to kill, rushing at her like before, with another Zen Headbutt. He may have been burned, but he wouldn't let that stop him still trying to get a good clean hit on the female mage. [break][break]

The witch expected the attack to be beneath him. With all the boost he had to take with the CALM MIND spell, the decrease in his health bar would not be that much.

"I know." Selena returned a playful wink at Alec. "But I'm not the one who's burning."

As the flames from the INFERNO dissapated in the battlefield, the demon mage rushed at the witch with another attempt of ZEN HEADBUTT. The witch did not budge and accepted the attack of raging demon, her health bare whopping into the yellow zone,e only for him to discover what the woman was plotting.

As his tackle connected with his target, an icy cloud of hailstorm was forming above them. And when he finishes his assault, a storm of AVALANCHE plungged into the blasted mage, striking with much more damage than what he had executed.

"See, you're not the only one who brought physical attacks into this battle."

SELENA's SP. ATTACK (+01) and SP. DEFENSE (+01) increased.

Alec had smirked and said, "You have gotten pretty strong I admit. Your burn from that last attack is pretty nasty. Too bad I already knew that tho, which means, we will have to end this very soon," Alec had said. It was then that he had began to notice the change in temperature that seemed to come from above him. Alec had attempted to dodge the Avalanche that was about to rain down him, quickly running the opposite way from where Selena was standing. He had attempted to leap out of the collision of the spell Selena had conjured, hoping that he could make it in time and just have his health shaved Marginally by his burn status.[break][break]

Move faster. Stay calm and focused. The demon mage had thought has he sped quickly away from the witch, hoping that he would be able to get out of the attack unscathed. He had not wanted to run away, but with how much damage the attack would have done by what Selena had said, as well as his burn, he wouldn't last as long as he had hoped. [break][break]

"I think not." Selena smiled seeing Alec try to evade her ice blasts. The demon maged hopped from the scene as fast as he could, but the icicles from AVALANCHE had a mind of its own. The hailstones tailed Alec until the other mage was hit tremendously.

Selena took the moment to finally up her game. The CALM MIND spell was used once again, the airy wisps of purple energy now more visible than ever. Selena's eyes were glaring. She's determined to defeat her enemy.

"You've gotten a lot stronger too. Which makes me want to crush you more."

The demon mage had hoped he'd be quicker than the falling avalanche, however he was wrong. He had been buried underneath it having quite some serious damage on top of his burn. Alec in angry and let his energy surge through, making it explode outward causing the heavy snow to blow away instantly. While the aura was still surrounding his body, he charged at Selena once again, attempting to attack her with another Zen Headbutt, not caring that he was losing now. Instead, he had a wild grin on his face, showing that was enjoying the challenge.[break][break]

"This battle isn't over until once of us falls!" Alec had said, attempting to ram himself into her, hoping to hit her, and bring her health down to red as well. He was determined to win, even if the odds seemed to be against him.[break][break]

What Alec said is true. The battle is not over unless only one of them remains standing.

The demon mage prepares again for another ZEN HEADBUTT, his aura surrounding his large figure. There was something telling Selena that this assault is unavoidable, and so she prepared for her next best plan.

As Alec pounces to the witch, Selena conjured an AURORA BEAM to her rapier. If she could not dodge the attack his tackle, she could at least counter him and hope to lessen its power in return.

"Then let's fight to the end Alec! Let's see who's the best among us.."

SELENA's SP. ATTACK (+02) and SP. DEFENSE (+02) increased.
SELENA uses AURORA BEAM. The attack may lower target's ATTACK.

Despite his health bar being in the red, he had still charged forth towards the Aurora Beam, getting hit by it. The smoke that had formed from the blast had made it seemed like the Demon was stopped in his tracks however just like he did with the Avalanche before, however he was obviously feeling the last attack. The aura flowed around him still surging out like silent battle cry. [break][break]

He thought attempting to smash into Selena one last time, hoping this attack would make him the victor of the battle. This match is a make-or-break situation for both mages. Selena remarked how committed and courageous Alec was in braving another ZEN HEADBUTT. Selena deemed to end it as well with a familiar wisp of icy AVALANCHE.

"Let's see who will survive this."

As the demon's tackle connected with the target, Selena hurled her hailstorm into the mage, much powered with the impact of his attack and Selena knew it would end her opponent's life.

A persistant bar of red was still gleaming in her her health. "I guess I win?"
