Behind the old factory at the seventh street upon reaching the outskirts of Slateport, there was a certain ditto witch who could impart certain tricks to her customers. Her secret spell: TRANSFORM.

Valerio warned the stylist about harming his hair but the lady proved to be skillful in handling his luscious crown jewel. She began by adjusting his strands with curlers. This helped her provide volume and body for his hair. Adjusting with a few cuts here and there, he now looked like someone out of Galarian magazine for royalty. The lady proceeded in decorating him with jewels. A choker for his neck, whose ornament matches that of the pair of earrings the stylist made him use. Some adjustments with his eye shadows, lips, and even some of his facial hairs were done and he was good to go.

The witch's TRANSFORM spell did make Valerio look 20 years younger, and even more beautiful than he had ever been. Drag was never his game: he had never been in Hoenn when it was the height of the organization's reign, so he could not imagine how important it was to construct a new identity. On top of that, an exaggerated effort to look different than his normal appearance. But he thought, what if, this time, he let himself unleash his inner femininity, and just don't care about what the world will tell about him?

The moment that he went outside of the salon, Valerio was already nowhere to be found. The name is now Vanessa Loraine.

Vanessa stood from the chair and took a long moment to mesmerize at her beauty from the stylist's mirror. "I'll come back next time." She winked at the parlorist. The voice sounded crass and deep, she figured she needed to work on it also if she'd be using this identity.

this would be the first time she actually faked a whole new identity.

though in the end, she appeared both feminine and masculine. a duel-sided sword. most would assume a very pretty young man. she would be known as Akira now. a common enough name, yet both genders held sway with it. walking without heels on was also easy, but she was on a mission to find a shop. a run-down one, common for criminals.

yet they made an excellent fake-ID. she was going to scope it out, report back to Rocket if it was suitable to her standards. allow the others to conduct business with the forgers as well. Sidonie - no, Akira - went on her merry way. "excuse me" she had no idea - props to the witch - that she spoke to Valerio. her voice was neutral gender sounding, neither light or deep.

perhaps he did not know he spoke to her either. "do you know the way to sixth street?" they were on the seventh street right now, she knew, but this was a test. to make sure no one recognized her. to allow her disguise as Akira to be common enough. posing as a lost tourist was a good enough excuse. she'd clasp the back of her neck, looking flustered. "I'm afraid I got lost."

The girl made one terrible mistake at trying to keep her false identity: you simply don't ask strangers where the sixth street is.

Everyone in the outskirts knows what can be found in the outskirts. First and second streets are low-end diners who cater to the poorer Slateport community. Third to fifth are the cheap retail stores. The sixth and seventh, although mainly appear as a district for countless cut-price services like barber shops, spas, and delivery centers, they also provide discreet favors for rocket customers.

But before the girl even learned that Vanessa already see through her cover, the woman decided to play along. "Follow me dear. I'm also going there myself." Vanessa hoped her voice fit the feminine pitch she was aiming for.

there is a small smile at the tone the 'woman' is using. it sounds rough. too rough for the vulturous redhead standing before her. Sidonie takes a moment to glance about, spotting the self-proclaimed ditto witch's shop a few paces away. realization dawns on her, though she does not know it is actually the man she had met before. only another Rocket - and in drag, from the vocal tone.

"how kind of you" she also decides to play along, following the other human at a slow pace. yes, she knew the seventh and sixth were Rocket-hangs. she had been briefed on that when she arrived. part of her wanted to get 'caught'. part of her wanted to pluck out the other hidden Rockets. the last remaining part wanted to see who didn't belong here. at least now she knew the 'woman' was a Rocket.

Vanessa led the girl to a narrow, dark alley that connected the sixth and seventh streets. The area was riddled with left-over garbages and wastes that were not lucky enough to make it inside the bins. There were a few muks and trubbishes nuking the ghastly sight, to which the woman blatantly ignore.

She tried to be prudent with her words, but Vanessa - like her alter ego Valerio, or perhaps the true personality behind the voluptuous and bulky woman figure - cannot try to shut herself up. "So what brings you here, anyway? Here to get an ID?"

as she was led down a darkened alley, Sidonie's hand twitched to her jacket, where her Pokeballs were stored in a lined pocket. there was little point in denying the thing - she had been found out, yet she took comfort in the fact she also had found the other out.

seeing as she had not been arrested yet, t'was safe to assume the other was a Rocket. or a very enthusiastic league member who wanted to keep up the charade. however, the ID maker had been discrete during Rocket's uprising. they were new, but asking around had found out they were good.
