Alec was slightly frustrated that the attempt to find the mini-boss in Pugilis did not go the way he had hoped. They had made it to the lair of the creature only for it to not appear. What. A. Let-down. However, that did not stop the Demon mage from hunting rare game. In fact, it made him want to find more rare game and kill them all the more. He had wondered if the reason why they had not encountered the mini boss last time was because of some 'special condition' in the game that they did not meet in order to fight it? Alec highly doubted it. In fact, some lucky piece o' crap must have gotten there first and defeated it before they could get to it, which made the Demon angry just thinking about such a thing! That was supposed to be his and his partner's kill![break][break]

It made him rather angry to the point where he had the kahunas to go find the person who stole his kill and pk them. However, Alec had decided to just let it be and go find other rare game elsewhere, which was why he and the female mage had decided to travel to the Ignis Kingdom - to find rare game there before anyone else could. [break][break]

They had traveled into a mountainous volcano, hoping to find a mini-boss somewhere inside. "We weren't so lucky last time back in Pugilis, but here in Ignus, there's more ground to cover, so we could potentially run into a mini boss somewhere in this Volcano," The demon had said to his female partner as he had kept walking. steam was visible in the area that they had walked as well as smoke that rose from the pit of lava down below them as they went further down, seeing an entrance way into what appeared to be a cavern. While Alec was frustrated, Stormy was merely indifferent. The mini-bosses were few and far between, and she had met plenty of rogues and rangers who were plenty capable of outpacing and out-damaging herself. It came as no surprise that someone had gotten to Pugilis' boss before they had. [break][break]

Granted, had they found the team, or solo player, responsible for getting there first, she almost certainly would have attempted to take them down. Just because they were faster didn't mean they were stronger, and chances were they were weakened already by the boss that they'd have been easy pickings. Stormy had no honor, because she had never received and indication from other PKers that there was any. She was ruthless.[break][break]

Excitement reaches the very tips of her toes, however, when Alec brings them to Ignis instead. He babbles on excitedly about hopefully having got here first and she essentially tunes him out. He means no harm and she isn't intending to be rude, she's just thrilled to be here, in her element. She had spent some time on her own trying to flush out the mini boss, or find some lucky thing.[break][break]

Now was her chance, yet again, to do just that.[break][break]

"Let's move quickly then, before someone else gets there first."

Alec walked into the entrance way of the cavern first with with his female partner behind him. It was then that flame torches had immediately lit up as they had entered, revealing it to be some sort of chamber. It was then that two Charmeleon spawns had appeared. The mage had quickly pulled out his Intelligent Wand and said, "Hope you're ready to deal with them," to his female partner.[break][break]

The two Charmeleon had used Smokescreen as a means to make Alec and Stormy quickly lose sight of the two red lizards, however Alec used a Calm Mind spell to keep himself being quickly irritated. One of the Charmeleon had rushed at him, quickly entering the smoke, using fire fang, however the light from it's fiery fangs had given it's position away. Alec had fired a Snipe Shot at the Charmeleon, killing it rather quickly. He knew that this wand that had given him the power of water would come in handy when facing against spawns like this. It made him glad he killed that Mega Swampert back in Fontaine. [break][break]

Stormy's steps slow when the torches light. Some unseen power had blown past them, waking the inner workings of the dungeon. This was only the beginning.[break][break]

The demon mage unfurls his wand and she unfurls her own. Both Charmeleon manage to conjure a dense SMOKESCREEN, preventing either mage from accurately seeing to the other side. However, the HURRICANE trapped in the tip of her wand begins to twist the winds around the dungeon, manifesting slowly into an incredible power.[break][break]

She breathes a sigh as the HURRICANE tears away at the SMOKESCREEN, rendering it useless as it turns to wispy tendrils. It seemed that Alec had managed to stop the first one, which left only one remaining. Despite the adolescent dragon's resistances to both of her known spells, Stormy still manages to put a stop to it with a fire much stronger than its own.[break][break]

Her MYSTICAL FIRE stops the Charmeleon before it could even begin.

Just as the second Charmeleon was defeated, the flames that had lit up the chamber as they had entered, had magically began to change color, from their typical orangish color, to bluish one. The stone door in front of them had then began to open, revealing an entrance way further down into the volcano. "I have a feeling that this is like some sort of trial. Let's keep going," Alec had said, quickly heading down the staircase that opened up in front of them. [break][break]

They had made it to another chamber that had lit itself up once more just like before, and two Torkoal had spawned in front of them. "Here comes another wave," the demon mage had said. one of the two Torkoal had launched a flamethrower at him, however Alec used Calm Mind to mitigate the damage he'd taken from the flames a little. He then quickly used his Intelligent Wand Once more to fire a Snipe Shot at it, killing with one hit like he had done to the Charmeleon earlier. [break][break]

"I'm glad this wand does the trick on these things. My Ice magic wouldn't be as effective in this place," Alec had said, plutting his wand away for but a brief moment. [break][break]

All of a sudden, the world falls away and she feels a wedge embed itself in her chest. It hurts to breathe and she can't think and there's a lump in her throat.[break][break]

Two Torkoal appear and, of course, they're prepared to attack. She can hear Alec chatting away but she doesn't really listen, she can't. Alec manages to eliminate one of them but Stormy hesitates, unwilling to pull the proverbial trigger.[break][break]

She almost sobs, watching the turtle approach. Memories flood her mind and even though she knows that these aren't real, that none of this is real, it's just a game, she's lost.[break][break]

But the Pokemon bring with them a powerful DROUGHT that heats up the arena, strengthening their power and her own as the remaining Torkoal bears down on her with a powerful ERUPTION. The move splashes and burns her skin and she cries out, stepping back and trembling as her hand points her wand at the Pokemon.[break][break]

"Please.. not like this.. I'm so sorry.."[break][break]

Her voice is but a whisper when she finally does it, when she finally blasts the Torkoal with her MYSTICAL FIRE that puts an end to its slow approach. She struggles to catch her breath, the wave of panic too intense for a moment.

Another passageway had opened and revealed a long passageway that had lava down below it. If a player were to fall off the sides, then they would surely die in the game. "Well, at least we know to watch our step," the Demon said in a playful and joking tone of voice he led the way down the thin pathway. after following down the path, they had met the 'boss', or at least, that what it appeared to be, however Alec was disappointed at the fact that the Blaziken that appeared wasn't in it's mega-evolved form. [break][break]

"Well, I was hoping for more of a challenge, but I guess this is better than nothing. Lets clear this thing and get out of here," Alec had said, grinning at the female mage. He clapped both of his hands together, gathering an aura around his body, then launching himself at their final challenge. he had hit it head on, and despite it being super effective, it seemed that it could take a hit, noticing that it's health bar was only knocked down by a quarter. [break][break]

"I take that back, maybe this thing might be stronger than I thought," Alec had said with a grin, only to attack it again, but afar with a Snipe Shot. landing another super effective hit on it, bringing it's health down to half. Alec had given the female mage the opportunity to now make her move and finish the Blaziken off. [break][break]
