Darty soon evolved into a dragapult and Valerio began touring the youngest of the team around Hoenn to search for other places to train and find new pokémon partners.

Riding the dragon, Valerio reached into the water routes of Pacifidlog and began scouting for monsters to battle.

The binacle was very inviting but it did not try enough to catch Valerio’s attention. After all, he was looking for something smaller, something fancier than the creature of the sea.

The rocket grunt continued searching with his Darty.

The dragapult shook its head at the sight of the drifloon, signifying its disapproval of the creature. “You know Darty, the more you’ve grown, the more picky you’ve become.”

And the pair flew once more in search of their worthy battle.

“How about we rush towards the cramorant and call it a day?”

The avian reminded Valerio of his home—he remembered Galar as home of flocks of these blue birds. The recollection pissed him off a littlec and even cramorant’s lack of intelligence added to his annoyance that urged the rocket member to make his dragapult fight it.

Darty used his familiar combo—THUNDER WAVE paralyzed the naive as he launched DRAGON DARTS—but the projectiles were just consumed by the cramorant, to Valerio’s surprise. “Again,” he called, and the dragon attempted another DRAGON DARTS toward it but the bird easily dodged its attack despite being immobilized.

This time, Valerio attempted to hurl a pokéball as Darty attacks, and when his plan was finally executed, the pair was only hopeful for a click from the sphere to happen.

DARTY (DRAGAPULT) uses THUNDER WAVE.
DARTY uses DRAGON DARTS.
VALERIO throws POLÉBALL (CATCH).
