This time, Stormy is up at the crack of dawn - earlier, even - to venture out into Petalburg forest. The sun has only just begun to climb the horizon and the humidity is low. It's almost cold, if it were possible for Hoenn to be cold this time of year.[break][break]

And for once, the woods seem just a little bit quieter, like the world within hasn't quite woken yet. [break][break]

Stormy revels in it because it's beautiful and she likes that she's the only living thing wide awake and alert. To watch the woods come alive as she walks through it sounds almost magical.

With bated breath, Stormy finds what she's looking for. The Pokemon rests, drool hanging from its mouth. The spore on its head looks swollen and heavy, surely full of some sort of grassy powder that would almost certainly be disorienting.[break][break]

The woman raises a finger to her lips while gesturing for her Delphox to approach. In a brief moment of struggle as the sleeping Gloom wakes to the sudden pain of a psychic-based attack upon her body, followed by a swirl of flame - the woods soon grow quiet once again.[break][break]

Of course, not without a sudden GRASSY TERRAIN spread at their feet and the numbing effects of a STUN SPORE on their skin. Stormy sneezes, waving away whatever remained. But she tosses an empty Pokeball at the Gloom before heading back.[break][break]
