Stormy's spent the better part of the afternoon just trying to figure out how to work the fishing rod she'd obtained. It wasn't a particularly complicated too, but she wasn't exactly the brightest bulb - and she wasn't a fan of water in general.[break][break]

So it was a recipe for disaster. Eventually, however, the woman had managed to cast the line a few feet from the dock, and without throwing herself in as well.[break][break]

On more than one attempt she had gotten the hook caught in her hair and spent several minutes detangling herself, but she'd managed. Now it was just a matter of waiting. God, she hated the waiting.

A sharp tug nearly sends her right into the water. It's her quick reflexes that allow her to hold onto her fishing rod, but it becomes readily apparent that she's caught something much bigger than she had at first anticipated. She'd been expecting a Magikarp or something, something that would definitely not take effort to capture.[break][break]

This.. this was not on her agenda.[break][break]

Stormy let's go of the rod with one hand - a mistake for her, but not in the long term - that simultaneously launches her into the cold water and releases a random Pokemon from her belt. Her squeal of panic is quickly drowned out as water crashes over the top of her head.[break][break]

A tiny Pichu is released from a capsule and, for a moment, it stands on the deck appearing confused and concerned as Stormy flails in the water avoiding the Walrein that's mouth hangs agape. The hook is wrapped around one of its tusks.[break][break]

"Don't just stand there, do something!"[break][break]

Of course, that do something would lead to a really bad hair day for the next few days. No amount of conditioner could tame the electrocution she faced, but it did result in a powerful Walrein in her party.[break][break]

Worth it.[break][break]
