Warmth from her hands melts the frost on the rocky walls as she peels herself off of her protective perch. In response to Stormy's irritable request, Delphox sprays a weak firey ember spray down their chosen path. It melts some of the ice along the ground, though to both of their surprise it immediately refreezes.[break][break]

ICICLE SPEARS are shot into the ground where the puddles had once stood. From these dangerously sharp pillars of ice, frost creeps over the water and solidifies it immediately. Delphox takes an immediate step back to prevent her feet from being frozen to the ground.[break][break]

However, the Vanillish is quick to TAUNT Delphox into a blind rage, encouraging the dual-type to aggressively lurch forward. Stormy reaches out to try and stop this reckless behavior but ultimately relents. The match-up is nearly unbeatable if Delphox doesn't royally screw this up.[break][break]

And, considering her opening move was a FLAMETHROWER at max power instead of weak-sauce to merely melt the ice on the ground, the Vanillish doesn't know what hit it. With a finishing move of PSYCHIC, the ice cream cone-looking Pokemon faints immediately. [break][break]

Stormy purses her lips and offers the Delphox a thumbs up while it snaps out of its aggressive stance. With the ice melted and a new Pokemon under her belt, the walk back out of Shoal cave is uneventful and easy.[break][break]
