"A bit there, and some in the ponds. But I haven't had much luck. Like, a koffing or two? But I've already got one, so..."

Without much more, he turns toward the bushes.

"I've got a strategy to pulling them out of the woodwork, though."

Releasing his abra, Abner gives a smirk.

"Let's get a party started, Zam."

The abra makes a sort of hissing noise, still snoozing away as abras do, before suddenly she's teleporting all around the place where she can sense a pokemon and taunting them, before teleporting back next to the blonde and Abner.

"Get ready, blondie. Cause here they come."

The newcomer responded in the negative, and Josh nodded his head slowly. Nothing new, at least, but there did seem to be Pokemon here. Though when he said he had a strategy, he blinked a few times as he peered towards his new "companion" with a curious eye.

Then he watched as his Abra began to flit about. When he said "here they come" though, he understood. He shifted his stance. And with it, the Raichu beside him appeared to pick up on what was going on and what was likely about to go down in turn. Years of battle had honed the Raichu's instincts just as much as the Trainer's. Sparks crackled across Lightning's cheeks as he got ready.

Josh's hand instinctively moved to his belt. Just in case.
