Stormy's order is nearly identical to his own - she liked burgers. She asks the guy behind the counter to splash a little extra vinegar on her fries, practically bouncing with excitement at the thought of digging in. [break][break]

Abner had, sense being in his seclusion, done nothing but watched tiktacs and tubeyous and all the other things that the kids are watching these days. He said stuff that didn't make sense with his age pretty often. Mostly when he wasn't paying any attention.[break][break]

After consuming his food at a reasonable pace, he leaned back and grinned at Stormy. He gave his stomach a rub, burped politely to himself, making it sound more like an exhale of air than a burp, before groaning and falling limp in his chair.[break][break]

She swipes the last fry around the plate to gather remaining salt and sauce. Her burger had been demolished already - girl had an appetite. Where Abner works hard to be polite, Stormy is just herself, eager to enjoy herself and her food. Even at the cost of looking like a starved animal.[break][break]

And when he burps politely to the side, Stormy's eyebrow raises and she nods to him.[break][break]

"That all you've got, boy? Pathetic."[break][break]

She burps at the end of her sentence, unashamed.[break][break]

"That can be arranged - I'm sure there are carts around here somewhere, I'll push you."
