A sudden crackling of Thunder illuminated the area, and he very nearly flew right into the wall of electrified air had he not decided to look forward at the last second.[break][break]

Wow, guys, really, trying to kill me now? He thought with a chuckle as he narrowly escaped being electrocuted and toasted alive in the downpour. The winds hadn’t relented either, and he wondered if the other man was headed in the same direction as he was.[break][break]

“Shh, don’t be frightened… go up,” he said to the Hydreigon, who looked around wildly before changing course mid-air. Instead of heading towards the center where the ‘eye’ of ‘calm’ was, the draconid he was hanging onto flew upwards and away from the center.[break][break]

The weather was going all-out in trying to disorient them both.

genesis blasted into the cyclone with a roaring force, but the two did not anticipate the clash of hurricane and the voltaic power lingering in the air. the electrified turbulence petrified the two, sending them plummeting into the ground in pain.[break][break]

but valerio felt genesis's eyes glimmer despite the pain, its berserk ability kicking in, making him want to try further. amidst falling, the golden dragon repositioned himself to catch his trainer and plunged once more into the roaring storm. another blast of hyper voice reverberated from its mouth, powered soundwaves dispersing the wind as it leaped into the sky.[break][break]

with valerio's bulky built and experience, he managed to endure the attack with no paralysis, but his body was covered in severe pain. he could barely see what was his drampa was doing until he noticed his dragon closing into the bed of dark clouds. “i believe in you,” his soft whisper tickled the drampa who prepared another blast of hyper voice into the soiled clouds.[break][break]

There it was again—there was another echoing shout, and god it was really disorienting at that point. Another howling blast of wind threatened to knock him off-course, and he hung on as tightly as he could onto his Hydreigon’s back.[break][break]

Flying on this draconid was very different from the Salamence, but it was a challenge and he was willing to accept the challenge! The ringing sound of what he guessed was another shout was still echoing in his ears, and he shook his head a few times to clear it out.[break][break]

Right then and there another peal of Thunder dropped close to where he was hovering, revealing his location for a few moments.[break][break]

“Ah, crap, move!” he hissed in the Hydreigon’s direction—he didn’t have a name for this one yet, but soon—eventually—this one would also get his name.[break][break]

…if they survived this battle, that is!

perhaps, the sound of the roaring thunder was not just a sign of admonition but a helping hand. after all, what would attract a bolt of electricity more than a live target? and as far as valerio is concerned, he and genesis were not the only ones faring the sea of storm clouds.[break][break]

“follow that sound!”[break][break]

he commanded his drampa, the dragon moving with unimaginable velocity powered by berserk. the sound followed through after the light, so valerio knew they would not catch up to it but they would have been nearby. the distance is enough for him to engage with his succeeding plans.[break][break]

“i believe in you,” valerio repeated, hushing towards genesis's ears, assuring his dragon he would be fine.[break][break]

the drampa took a deep breath before starting to throw flames. the dragon is rotating as he flies, releasing the stream of fire in a radial motion in hopes of hitting the mount of the gym leader.[break][break]
