Now that the pile of debris was well out of the way the Meditite continued on her merry way, leaving Lars to follow right afterward.

Being careful to avoid the splinters and shattered wood planks that had scattered because of the High Jump Kick attack, Lars looked up in time—enough to see that she was at it again, this time aiming a particularly potent Force Palm against what appeared to be a huge-ass boulder that had somehow made its way to the beachfront proper.

Like, how in the fresh hell?

The concrete wall breaks easily under the water-type's might, sending debris flying. Katherine shields her eyes to avoid having dust reach them— and it's then that her partner takes a couple more steps, reaching what seemed to be their last obstacle.

When her eyes open again, Poliwhirl aims both of his fists at the boulder - cracking it open. And then a final touch causes both halves of the boulder to collapse, clearing the way for them.

With the boulders out of the way Razz kept running besides Dijon seeming to finally be in the home stretch, well at least until a wall seemed to be raised from the ground. Damn rock pokemon and damn the people running this, but that wasn't going to stop the little yellow Wrecking ball as he smashed through the wall with a final ARM THRUST before the two finally ran passed the finish line, the ranger very much wanting to collapse while his partner jumped with excitement.
