Vanessa could tell the feeling that both her and Zeus were so near yet so far unto the finish line. Apparently, using draco meteor was not the proper way to handle the obstacles as it backlashed with the debrie scattered unto the concourse, making it more difficult to traverse.

But Vanessa focused only on the positive aspect that her decision brought: there was nothing that could prevent her and her team from reaching the finish line. And so she and Zeus dashed some more until they crossed and the announcer proclaimed their somewhat victorious race.
