They're nearly at the end. All they need to do is conquer the last obstacle: an impossible steel wall several inches thick. Presumably, they're expected to tear through it. However, only the strongest of Pokemon can accomplish a feat and that's not even considering their weariness. So, it'll take their combined efforts to force their way in.
