With a surprising delicacy, Fernando smears chalk powder around his Marill's stomach. He rubs the remainder over his own hands as they prepare for another run through of the attack course. Through trail and error, he's found that applying the powder provides better gripping and makes the impact of striking objects less abrasive. At the surface level, he can surmise why it may work but he's more than satisfied with the placebo effect.

He leaves his bag of chalk open for the others to use as they take their spot at the starting line.

A BELLY DRUM announces their intention to start.

"One after another," he announces, hurling his Marill into the first obstacle as if it were a ball.

Time for this shit again. Oscar let out Zule the chandelure, who immediately began to Psych Herself Up as she examined the course. She had been a reluctant participant in these courses, but now she was in it to win it. She wanted the gold baby! She was so close, she could taste it! And it was delicious!

When she was properly prepped, she let out a haunting battle cry as she charged into the course. That first target was obliterated by her strength, fueled by the burning passion of a thousand suns. Victory shall be theirs for sure! Oscar followed close behind as Zule rushed to the next target. He didn't want to miss a single moment.

with a roar both kazimir and sengoku pounded each other's chests as they started to go hog wild on the obstacles before them, of course it was quite the funny sight seeing the blonde beat his own chest while the charizard used a belly drum since it was larger. that still didn't stop them from being psyched up enough to try and run this course once more and see if they could do better. after all all they had to do was improve their times right? that should be simple enough, so the two of them went to work breaking down boards and walls that stood between them and their goal.

This time, Stormy approaches covered in war paint. She's haphazardously drawn aggressive lines on her cheeks as well as on the face of her Darmanitan. They step up to the plate with another BELLY DRUM before barreling straight into the first obstacle. They waste no time - although Stormy definitely stops to look at the one guy's Chandelure.[break][break]

Psych up was a really unique move, she had to take a second to appreciate.[break][break]

They all prove gung-ho enough to trudge onward. Content with their slew of fire type, Fernando will have his much smaller Pokemon break through anything out of their way. Being able to toss his Pokemon as a projectile gives them a slight edge in allowing their much bulkier companions focus on the harder obstacles.

Composite planks crack underneath his fist, chafing and ripping through skin in the same manner they tear through the course.

Zule cackled manically as she worked the course, a horror to inanimate objects everywhere. Her super natural strength made these boulders into pebbles and created splinters from these logs. It was physical power the likes of which she had never felt before. She really had to hand it to that Marill, it had immense strength hiding adorably pathetic form.

Oscar stayed right behind Zule, marveling at her newfound strength. If only she could keep this upgrade, oh well best appreciate it while he could.

"gack!" sengoku wasn't looking where he was swinging his massive tail to do some serious damage so he wasn't aware that kazimir was way too close to him. The blonde got a face full of scales and was flat out his face on the ground and wasnt moving. The crowd were holding there breath and some of the staff were ready to send out some medics. However a raised thumbs up from the body signaled that he was alright after all. His charizard was pretty busy maki g short work of his own obstacles and he broke down steel this time.

Fernando lacks the same concern because Kazimir is built like a truck. He also cares little for strangers but that's never a reason he'll announce aloud. Instead, he puts his focus on wrapping up the next leg by tossing charging through a barrel of hay, paving they way for his Marill to pound through whatever lies behind the yellow curtain call.

Oscar too simply stepped over Kazimir, lacking both concern and pity. Oscar's done a few courses with the stud at this point, he knew this was normal behavior. Oscar did provide a passing comment though, "That landing was A plus, you should really get into stunt work. Ass is popping today, keep working those glutes!"

That last part was yelled as he ran forward to keep up with Zule, who at this point was way ahead trying to help her teammates smash a huge rock blocking their path.

now the charizard was trying to headbutt his way through the course, that was an amusing sight. "hey i know your hard headed but i really don't think that means literally you big dolt." the charizard didn't care, he was still going to plow through everything in his way even if that included his trainer. kazimir just rolled his eyes as he slowly followed his pokemon's path of destruction while stretching his limbs to make sure they were nice and limber when he decided to continue his part in clearing this whole thing. warm ups were important after all.

The aftermath of everyone else's attacks comes to brutalize her. She falls behind only because Darmanitan is slower and more methodical in his approach. But she is soon forced to brace herself behind the hulking Pokemon as the rest barrel through obstacles. She does not intend to end up on the ground as Kazimir had - though he seemed indifferent to it.[break][break]

[attr="class","spiral"]Fernando finds himself off put by Oscar's compliment. Although he understands that overall it's a message of positivity, the manner of which he addresses it is uncouth if not puzzling. But maybe Fernando isn't cultured enough to appreciate the finesse of the male 'ass'.

With his attention solely on the course, he ends up stopping before the steel door, unable to do much by himself. Even his Marill can only put a dent into it. It'll take their combined effort to pierce through the thick wall.

As Fernando stopped at the steel door, Zule would shortly after slam into it. Again and again she mashed her delicate body into the obstacle, the strength gifted to her by the marill being the only thing preventing her from crumbling against the impact. She could not take it down alone however, it would take her hours to do so. That did not slow her down, she kept up her assault knowing her teammates would soon appear to help her.

Oscar cheered from behind, extremely proud of his robust ghost companion. If only she could show this much determination in actual battles.
