All the laughing it'll cause would make most Pokemon lose the will to fight, unable to breath from the invasive feel of something hair and fur slipping into places not meant to be touched.

Fortunately, some Pokemon prove too COMPETITIVE to distract. Fernando scowls at the sight, stomaching the necessary evil in order for their team to succeed.

Unrelated, the Smeargle is MOODY.

everyone was so serious that the smeargle feels like it should psych itself up to stir up some plots in his head as well. it doesn't seem to be as composed as the meowstic when he finishes however.

the smeargle walks up alongside his trainer, trying to be ready for the course.

it was time for a change of pace and so far by the way things were going kazimir had an idea of what to do. actually it was kyle and his smeargle that gave him that specific idea of using a move to just kind of cheese they're way out of this. taking out his ninetails he had it use psych up to psych herself up like the meowstic that was busy being tickled. "alright girl let's get to work."

Hit each target with the water gun while avoiding being hit. The obvious answer is to divide and conquer. Fernando stands with his back to his team mates before ejecting several streams of water. His accuracy with the weapon pales in comparison to pitching a Pokeball but it gets the job done. Much like Kyle, his Smeargle learns to handle the weapon as opposed to using an actual move. Just having it in its hand is enough to PSYCH IT UP.

the ninetails had decided to take the lead on this course as she jumped from the high ledge to shoot at targets hiding above her. this time the challenge was more vertically inclined and while kaz wasn't even breaking a sweat climbing up to his sniper's position his pokemon was much faster at climbing, or well jumping in her case. "damn four legs, thing they're so much better." mumbled kaz as he managed to finally reach his posiiton and take out his paintball gun to start aiming, only to see that his ninetails had done most if not all of the work for him already.

Fernando confirms Kazimir's work from above, impressed that he single-handedly shaved their time in half by preventing them from having to send another one in the watch tower. It's all up to the three of them on the ground level to handle what he can't reach. Between Kyle and Marcel, that shouldn't be a difficult task. All he has to do is pull his own weight and they'll be fine.

"and a snipe. and a snipe. and a snipe." having a sniper's position to shoot targets from was actually pretty fun as evident from kazimir picking off targets one by one while his ninetails was running around burning as many as she could with large flames. it was a wonder that she didn't actually burn anything else down with how crazy she was going with it. hopefully that wouldn't look bad on their score or anything.

Unsurprisingly, these prove more resilient, requiring more force to destroy or an accurate shot in the middle to ping them as having been tagged. Fernando's Smeragle takes several attempt to land the perfect shot.
