Elinor noticed the displeasure on Isaacs face, and was once more forced to realize that Isaac was just another human being stuck in a situation out of necessity.

As Isaac pointed out her self harming movement, she found the strength to halt it for a moment. Instead, gripping tightly to her arms so as to prevent the hands from performing the motion.

“It cursed me.” Elinor repeated. “Used itself as a voodoo doll of sorts, made me feel pain by stabbing itself with needles and pins.”

A tremble began to wash through her body.

“First my hands.” She paused. “Then my eye.”

She fell silent as the tingling itch became so painfully obvious at her eye.

If only she could scratch it.

Elinor eyed the sweets with suspicion for a moment. But then it seemed she came to the conclusion that it couldn’t get much worse.

And so she ate.

The sweetness felt almost overwhelming compared to whatever food-stuff Team Rocket had fed her with up until now.

But she consumed them, not knowing when or if she might get the chance again. The focus on the sweets did lessen the itch somewhat, but it was quick to return. Luckily by then Elinor could gaze upon the little display of kindness between the Zorua and its trainer.

Elinor’s lips grew thin, strained as they were with the tension of decision making. She had been posed a question, one which she should not divulge too much information about.

At the same time, if Eris Halla had informed Rocket already, then there was precious little harm that could be done

“Before I answer your question, let me remind you that Eris Halla is a known Rocket, and is considered dangerous due to the Pokémon in her possession.” Her tone carried what remained of her political professionalism.

“The Answer is yes. It is unfortunate that it happened, but the person who tried to capture her was well within their right to use force.”

A Tanabata Festival.

A lovely little festival that was sure to bring people together. Elinor had decided to go there as well. It would look good for a member of the council to go there and be a part of the masses.

For protection she brought her Golden Steelix, its imposing presence a sign of wealth and power.

As she stood before the shrine and took a slip to write upon. Elinor had to look up for a moment to think. Think of a wish that might be fulfilled. Her mind turned to her family, to Laurence Anderson, AUTUMN ANDERSON, Morrigan Anderson and all the others whose blood carried the anderson line. Though she didn’t get along with many of them, she still held a burning desire to keep them safe, to keep all of Hoenn safe.

A bright shining star flew by on the sky as she realized what her wish was, and she quickly began to scribble it down.

I wish for the strength to protect all that I hold dear, and the certainty to use it.

Meanwhile the Steelix made a wish of its own.










Steel the Steelix forgets Sandstorm and Learns WISH

“I’ve considered it.” Elinor acknowledged Josh’s suggestion. Though it was half dragon type, it wasn’t exactly the type of Pokémon she would go out of her way to get.

But moving on. Josh offered his honest reaction to the news. She found herself slightly surprised as it seemed he had heard naught about it.

Has the League been THAT tight lipped with it? She pondered, even felt a sense of disappointment that The Council hadn’t used it as a PR opportunity.

While Josh’s little battle against the Ducklett was going on, and right after Elinor’s Milotic gave her the first catch, a Quilfish charged through the water toward them.

It tried to intimidate them with Aggression, but found neither Elinor nor her two Pokémon to be particularly scared. It was too late when it realized its folly. Unfortunately neither Pokémon was intend on letting the bully get away. Gyarados was about to dig down and bite it, when Milotic stopped it. Reminding it that Elinor was still on his back AND biting a poison type wasn’t smart.

Instead the Milotic froze it, quickly defeating it and letting Elinor capture the bully for who knows what purpose.

Elinor made her way through Route 114. Though those that looked upon her might not recognize her as she had taken to wearing her newly acquired Sygna Suit. Its black body is adorned with near metallic looking silver gray scales as it creates an almost armor looking appearance.

For those looking from a distance they might accidentally think of her as an Aggron with no tail and no horned head, when compared to the Aggron walking by her side.

But the sight of the two would quickly be overshadowed by the sight of one peculiar person. Though admittedly it was not the sight but the sound that at first alerted her to the person and her Pokémon.

As Elinor laid eyes upon the source of the sound, she knew immediately who it was.

Shalin Nariya

Elinor decided to have a look. Only to mutter “Wait, is she on its wing?” in disbelief to Aggron as she noticed Shalin’s particular location on her steed's body.

Elinor had to think for a moment on just how much she could or should say. But decided that the truth would serve for now.

“Team Rocket managed to overwhelm and capture me. And well, I am sure I don't need to tell you what happened after that.” Elinor spoke, discomfort making its way to her face as she came painfully close to talking about her time in Rocket prisoner.

Luckily riding the Gyarados and watching the variety of other Water Pokémon Josh had brought along, pulled her mind away from the darkness of her prison-time.

"Same here." She couldn’t remember when she had last been here.

Deep below the waves a Pokémon lay in waiting. The Wugtrio looked for prey that it could catch from below. It noticed the Gyarados and prepared to attack. But Elinor had foreseen potential danger, and so below the waves a Milotic swam.

The watchful gaze of the Miltoc alerted it to the danger, and it acted quickly. Sending a Dragon Pulse straight for the Garden Eel Pokemon. The Wugtrio was quickly defeated, and brought to Elinor who was quick to accept the gift.

Selling

The fresh air of the Pacifidlog Water Routes were bringing some much needed clarity to Elinor. Spending the last week or so at Slateport General Hospital had left her with a severe abundance of energy that she needed to vent before her unfortunate newfound habit would force her hands into action.

And so she took to the seas clad in a wetsuit, comfortably placed upon the back of one of her water type Pokémon. This time it was a ferocious looking Gyarados.

But she wasn’t allowed to do this alone. It was far too high a risk after having just been broken out of prison. Retaliation from Rocket was likely, especially if they saw her out and about. And so a friendly face had been designated as her guard for the day.

Elinor was relieved that at least it wasn’t a boring person.

Taking with Shalin Nariya

“Something sweet?” She returned the question.

The more she thought about it, the more appealing it became until at last she spoke.

“I don’t know if it would help. But it is worth a try.” A simple statement, but perhaps telling enough. Elinor was softening up to Makoto, whether Elinor noticed it or not.

If only Soyeon’s heart had been bared during better circumstances. Unfortunately Elinor could not find it in herself to take in the gravity of Soyeon’s display.

“We might be ants to them, but even ants can bite. And if enough of us bite together we CAN take down gods. If only we could stop fighting each other long enough to realize that” Unfortunately Rocket seemed inclined to keep Hoenn torn, even though a united Hoenn would stand so much better against the threats from beyond its borders.

But the topic of gods and the threat they posed was quickly swept away as yet another familiar name was dragged into their conversation.

Elinor released a surprisingly loud sigh. “I know of Eris Halla and the situation.” She acknowledged. “Why?”
