with one order finished, it was time to start the next. zenji returned from his break to see that it was time to start on order #6.

"gathering?" what an ominous statement. "i suppose even mythos pokemon have their own reasons." for now he would leave the topic alone.

"the silvally..." that's right, he hadn't seen the curious being in quite sometime. "the battle facility recently opened. so we can take the fight there." fernando probably had not been there in sometime. "the equipment has been updated and more fit to handle rougher battles." he recalled a destructive Bailey Cooper using it once upon. and then there was another, but he couldn't exactly remember their name. only that they were a dragon tamer.

"mew's been sneaking off to watch pokemon battles." how did he know this? don't ask. "so i think its become a bit interested with joining one. i think it sees pokemon battles as a form of entertainment. which, to be fair, it wouldn't be wrong." but zenji would assume that is more intrigued by something else when it came to pokemon battles.

"we can head over now."

in another room. zenji monitored the current status of pokemon within evergrande hospital's care. the screen showcased a sudden shfit in their vital. where some results, physically, remained the same. their mental brainwaves showcased another.

in one way to summarize the sudden shift. zenji would describe their immediate change as, "calm. the pokemon..." he'd remain within the monitor room. continuing to watch what else would occur, "is there some sort of malfunction happening?" he thought aloud. "no...' there was more to it. for each of the pokemon to no longer show the mental stress the data once revealed them to be under had long since disappeared right after leaving avery jones alone with them.

"what's going on...?" zenji pondered.

he would stop those in the room with him from leaving. wanting avery jones to remain where she was, as well as those who were in the room with her. "let's just continue to keep watch..." zenji instructed, "for now."

MEW, remaining camouflaged, sprightly danced midair. enjoying the young maiden's SWEET SCENT. the pokemon, now no longer dancing, wondered as to why she allowed the pokemon to remain in such a state? were they not suffering? was this some sort of game? it curiously wondered.

or, rather, knew there was something subconsciously hindering the maiden from unlocking her full potential. so it would take the liberty of leaving the room quietly. once out of human sight. the pokemon would TRANSFORM into zenji jabami.

mew, or should i say "zenji", returned to the room. though "he" was silent. a simple hand would come to be placed upon avery jones's shoulder. a smile, which was very rare, followed. "zenji" would nod, indicating that avery jones, with a gesture, should continue doing what she's doing. while "zenji's" hand touched her shoulder. the mythos pokemon would SYNCHRONISE psychically with avery jones from its touch.

in her head she would hear zenji's voice, saying, "you got this, avery!" both jovially and encouragingly. of course, it was the transformed mew encouraging avery whilst replicating zenji's voice. "just take a deep breath and concentrate. only you can dispel this mild ailment. you just have to believe in yourself as the avatar of shaymin."

avery jones

avery's woeful expression was one zenji wish he didn't have to see. he felt as if he'd let her down. unable to find the key to curing what was too far gone.

"all you can do is stay beside them and tend to them as you would any other." her motherly talent when it came to taking care of and nursing pokemon would prove fruitful. "for now i'd start with gabite and just make your way around. some of them are too weak to eat, some unresponsive." there was only so much the head scientist could do. if only eva had some cure-all ability to fix this. but she was a scientist, not a miracle worker.

"i'll be back shortly."

he would leave her alone briefly. unbeknownst to zenji or avery. there was a small creature, though invisible, hovering about. watching with curiosity. the object of their focus? avery jones .

MEW, camouflaged, watches avery jones carefully. wondering as to WHAT SHE WILL DO WITH THE SICKLY GABITE. it ponders from above as to whether the assistant will use her GIFT or not.

klinklang continued to GEAR GRIND the most important ingredient when it came to iced coffee. while doing that, zenji would hand the customers their finished order. this one would be the last of the TEDDIURSA ICED COFFEE, for now.

the FLAME WHEELing chimchar finished roasting the final CHEESY ROWLET PIZZA. a interesting combination. zenji would have try the pizza and iced coffee beverage together one of these days.

it had been sometime since the groudon raid. while trying to get back to normal had beenb their top priority. there was much that needed to be discussed. zenji, awaiting in his office, pondered on what 'normal' even meant to the scientist.

he hadn't had a single sense of normalcy since his promotion into league. "regardless, i think we're past the point of ever returning to normal. wouldn't you agree..." he'd turn toward the invisible companion that hovered in front of the large window, "mew."

ooc: zenji is currently waiting within his office for Eva Morales and illeana reyes to show. mew is currently invisible and hovering around the room. zenji stands in front of the window, watching the city lights shine in the night. it's currently evening and about 9PM.

the sneasel burgers were cooked to proper temperature. "order up," zenji said. serving the odd customer his order. "anomalies?"

zenji watched as the odd fellow walked away with his order.

during groudon's terror that almost became a desolate land. many pokemon were exposed to a strong source of radiation that emanated from groudon's body. those who remained alive were brought into evergrande city's pokemon hospital for treatment. zenji, overseeing their recovery, could not find a cure for their ailment. the pokemon before him were at a very dangerous stage and were too far deep within their solar radiation sickness.

where zenji was stumped. there was only so much the hospital could do. Eva Morales, league's expert veterinarian, was currently unavailable. thus, zenji needed to call evol's next best mind when it came to pokemon: avery jones . unbeknownst to either of them that she would soon prove to be an effective asset with a surprising gift.

for now, at the front entrance of the hospital, zenji awaited for avery's arrival. once she was here they could begin working on making the pokemon as comfortable as they could be. so that they may be sent off into the next life, free from their suffering and pain.

the final key ingredient was added. with that zenji would ring the bell, saying, "order up." once again. the group of young women would whisper amongst themselves. commenting on Katherine Fairburne possessing a cool and mysterious air about her; obsessed with the woman's beauty as she donned the formal attire that was required. FERNANDO SILPH handsome and, being a older man, practically looked as if he invented the word 'refinement'.

they were attracting quite the crowd.
