Logan had never really saw an urgency to engage swarms, he had only taken part in one in the past few months, and even then he failed. But an Eevee swarm, something about it struck a chord with him, and as if programmed to do it like some robot, he had gotten out of bed, gotten dressed and travelled faster than he usually does. Maybe it was because he wanted a friend for Princess, his Glaceon? Maybe that way she wouldn't be cold, at least not towards Havok and Blaze, Logan's Dragonite and Charizard, respectively. Either way, Eevee were rare in the wild, so for a swarm to appear was almost ridiculous to imagine.

Logan arrived to the swarm with Princess by his side; she had somehow picked up the scent of the swarm and came out of her Pokeball on her own. Logan didn't mind, he was going to bring her out anyway. They both looked at the crowd that had gathered, Logan was expecting a few people, but the crowd was growing very fast, so he wanted to find a less crowded spot to make an attempt for an Eevee. He didn't care if they were shiny, he just wanted a friend for Princess. If he succeeded, perhaps she really would become a Snow Queen, but in fake title only.

Logan had simply been relaxing on a beach deck chair underneath a large parasol. His shirt was draped on the chair behind him, he had Mudkip enjoying a nap on his lap, Dragonite was enjoying himself in the air with the Pokemon of other beach-going trainers, only for the peace to be interrupted by a flock of literal angry birds. Startled, Logan let out a yelp "Haikyuucannon?! Er--Toucannon." he corrected himself, clearing his throat, a little embarrassed by his abrupt outburst. He returned Mudkip to his Pokeball, however Dragonite flew down to shield his trainer from the Toucannons' attacks. "Guess we'll have to earn a nice day at the beach, huh, Havok?" to which his towering dragon replied with a focused, rumbling growl as it glared at the flock, ready to engage.

The sudden, but elegant rush of petals through the air via Petal Blizzard caught Logan off guard for a moment. In the summer setting, the flowers looked rather pretty, he had to admit. But he snapped out of it quickly, thankfully. As he watched the Petal Blizzard swirl around with a soft element of frustration to it, he looked down at Princess again, contemplating the move to have her use in return. Within a few more seconds, he made his decision.

"Okay then, Princess, use HAIL! Make sure to keep it on just them." which was immediately followed by Glaceon's chilling cry, inducing a greyish cloud patch to form above the group involved in the Tug of War game, specifically Team Kyogre. Within seconds, said mini-formation of light storm clouds started to drop the requested Hail upon the opposing team. Princess was working to make sure the Hail did not hit the teammates of herself and her trainer. Logan, meanwhile, smiled softly as the ice chunks from Hail battered against the flurry of petals in the air.

Logan, if he were anybody else, would have been intimidated to the core by the Dragonite's sheer might, but that is not the case. Logan has a Dragonite of his own, they grew up together -- so he knew many things about the species, both good and bad. As Princess returned to his side, he looked down at his Ice-type friend, who looked back up at him with an affirming gaze. He smiled.

"Princess, use BLIZZARD!" Logan said powerfully as he gave the Glaceon her instructions. As told, Princess cast forth a howling snowstorm focused around the enemy team like its natural counterpart, forming a blizzard as it does. It does not last long in the heat of summer, but it still is enough to cast chills through bones, to make fingers numb, to partially freeze both water and wings and to obscure vision for the next few minutes. As the Blizzard rampaged, Glaceon, with her natural ability, basically disappeared into the snow like a phantom for now...

Logan smiled a little, appreciating that despite Princess' preference to have peace and quiet, she was still just as into this game as everyone else was. But when the next move from the enemy team was ordered and sent forth, he knew he had to act quickly. Sludge Wave is a hefty move, especially against groups. Thankfully, Logan -- or more specifically Princess -- had a back-up for situations like this...or, rather, the combat versions of these situations.

Raising his voice so his Glaceon was able to hear properly, he gave her a new command of her own. "Princess, send it right back with MIRROR COAT!" he said with a firm and empowering tone, confident in the strength and reliability of his Pokemon, even if it was only just a game. Better to at least try and fail, than to hesitate and suffer, right?

Princess the Glaceon released the rope from her jaws and darted into position. With a spine-tingling howl, her body, which already shimmered in the summer rays due to her icy fur, began to glow even more. With Mirror Coat prepped, she leapt at the Sludge Wave head on; sending the move right back to where it came, sloshing against the ground around Team Kyogre.

Logan grimaced as the Granbull licked the rope at first. "Of all things ya coulda done..." he mumbled as well. He looked down at his Glaceon, aka Princess, who was pulling on the rope along with her trainer with all her little Ice-type might. She seemed to be struggling in her current position, quietly forcing Logan to think of a quick solution.

When he got his idea, he perked up; something Princess noticed immediately. "Princess, go to the back of the rope, or wherever there's a low-hangin' part, and use Bite! Give it some extra tuggin' power with those teeth of yours!" he spoke towards the Glaceon, who immediately obeyed the order with a chirrup of approval.

She pranced along the rope until she got to the middle rather than the end, making it easier for a Pokemon of her shorter stature to contribute, grabbing a hold of the rope close to the centre with the instructed move, securing her hold upon the rope with Bite as she began pulling once more, more efficiently than her original position.

As the screams and cries of panicked people and Pokemon alike ripped through the joyous tone of the festival, both Logan and Dragonite near-instantly forgot about their loss in the sumo match to Eva and Machamp. From his perch, Logan could see what was happening; a stampeding herd of Tauros, and people targeting some sort of Pokemon floating up in the air. Did it startle the herd, or was it the fireworks? Looking down at his small companion, Logan took out a Pokeball from his bag and tapped it, engulfing Mudkip in a sparkling energy. "Return for now, buddy, it's not safe." Logan said soothingly to his unnerved friend. Securely tucking Mudkip's Pokeball back into his bag, Logan looked down at Dragonite, who was already locking gazes with its trainer. Pokemon and Trainer were on the same wavelength.

Logan initially went to turn his camera off to end the stream but at the last second he hesitated and changed his mind. Looking directly into the camera, he smiled nervously. "Sorry folks, change of plans. If you get motion sick or don't like heights, look away now." he warned as he picked up the camera and its mount from the statue they had been fastened to. Logan watched as both Eva and Kazimir ran off, giving them each an affirming stare, he knew they would be alright regardless of what they did.

Dragonite's powerful wingbeats rumbled through the immediate area as he took off into the air, sweeping past the statue low enough for Logan to jump upon his back. Up, up and away they went, in the direction of the herd. However, Logan caught Dragonite glaring in the direction of the legendary Pokemon. "It's alright...we can focus on that thing after we help these people." Logan soothed Havok as he patted the side of his neck whilst flying. Choosing to not show the fleeing crowd and the possibility of injuries on a livestream, Logan kept his camera pointed at Tapu Bulu for the moment.

Dragonite lowered towards a rooftop, allowing Logan to jump off onto the flat tiles, a safer spot than being on the ground. "Havok, keep the herd from tramplin' the people, but don't hurt them. It'll make things worse." Dragonite nodded with a grunt of understanding. The dragon descended towards the ground, barely managing to land between a Tauros and a festivalgoer in its path. With a growl, Havok grabbed onto the horns of the Tauros, its head inches from Havok's torso, and held it in place. After getting his footing, Havok pulled off a finicky manouvere; he forcefully turned the Tauros and pushed it, to make it go in another direction. With that risk handled for now, Havok started hurriedly flying armfuls of guests out of the risk the herd was running down, all while Logan watched both Dragonite and Tapu Bulu.

Logan had started filming both events now; people and Pokemon working together to both deal with the stampede, as well as engage the unusual Pokemon that had shown itself all of a sudden. Havok returned to Logan's side not long after. The latter rummaged through his bag for something, eventually pulling out a solid red bandana of some sort, proceeding to wrap it around Dragonite's neck firmly. "Remember how this works, pal?" he said as he patted Dragonite, who nodded in response. Fastened into the bandana was a small wireless device that would allow Havok to hear Logan's orders, without Logan having to constantly yell. He had came up with this after some of his viewers complained about him yelling orders to Dragonite, quite often.

Havok took off into the air at breakneck speeds, speeds which his kind were especially known for. In seconds, Havok was somewhere above Tapu Bulu, glaring down at it. Neither Havok nor Logan had seen this Pokemon before, only in passing glance -- or so Logan thought -- so they had to be careful. Logan spoke into the microphone of his mobile phone, which lit up as it recognised his voice. "Alright, Havok, hit it with Hurricane!" and as asked, Dragonite's wings kicked up a monstrous flowing gale-force wind, releasing the waves of powerful air towards the Tapu Bulu.
