introductions
AS THE TOURNAMENT RAGES ON, seasonal festivities have popped up around slateport as participants look for a momentary escape. pokemon and trainers have a chance to tackle on various challenges with bp on the line! take a break to relax and enjoy fun mini-games as you make friends with your fellow challengers!

in addition to the cycle long event: the HOENN STAR TOURNAMENT, small mini-games will sporadically open up. these games are meant for players to enjoy in a low stress, casual, for fun environment.

rewards will be minimal and inclusive to reflect the nature of the event.
OOC RULES AND INFO EVENT SUMMARY
MOST GAMES WILL INVOLVE RNG but also grants players some agency through the choices they make. these games will be short and require different levels of activity ranging from posting every 24 hours to posting at your own discretion up until the end of the game. at this time, most games are expected to last around a week, give or take.

each game will have its own set of rules. due to the rapid creation of these games, most of the rules will not be posted until the thread is created. to offset the blind nature of sign-ups, shiv and SPIRAL will provides small clues in this thread prior to sign-ups opening.

these games are meant to be self regulated and rely on the honor system. remember to be cordial to your fellow members and have a good time.

EVENT GUIDELINES
HERE ARE SOME STANDARDIZED RULES that apply to all mini-games unless otherwise stated.

- only one character may participate per mini-game. you do not have to use this character for every mini-game.
- mega evolution, z-moves, and avatar powers will not grant any bonuses. feel free to pick a pokemon that would otherwise not get a chance to shine!
- you cannot use the same pokemon twice. there probably won’t be more than a handful of mini-games but keep this in mind as games start popping up.
- these games will be team based. staff will divide up teams so be prepared to collaborate with your peers. please conduct yourself respectfully.
- do not badger players to post! games will have a lax posting order to accommodate the chaotic spree of activity during games. those that do not post will not be awarded rewards!
