These things were becoming more frequent than ever.

Given he was first on the scene he did as he always did and watched the pack.

When he found a lull in the moment, he chuck a spare pokéball.

Like the eevee from the last occasion though, this lot was more interested in training themselves (and sparring) and socializing together than causing trouble.

That made them easy and willing subjects for his camera; his aura passed their vibe check and the pokémon accompanying him helped his score.

With Jūken and Lucario at this side along with a transformed Gan the gathering of Emanation and Aura Pokémon quickly accepted the four of them into the gathering of punchy puppies.

Adrian thought he had been sneaky enough. Tiptoeing all the way up the mountain towards the Lucario and Riolu, he thought he'd been as quiet as a mouse. But as he let loose his pokeball and sent it flying, he saw the face of one of the pokemon staring through him, into his soul.

It knew what he'd done, and passed judgement.

Lucario's a useful Pokemon, able to feel emotions and sense subtle changes in the world. Not to mention the power they possessed. With things around Hoenn are getting increasingly tense, having one by his side could prove helpful.

The sentiment carried Killian to Jagged Path in search of the swarm smashing rocks. His luck during these breaks was...shit, to say the least. He had hope that things would change.

While they had gone uninterrupted for a time, it seemed others making their way along the path spotted them as well. With no time for caution, Derek moves to hurl a pokeball in their direction. jagged pass was where he needed to cross to get to where he was going. during his stroll, he saw the lucario and riolu helping out the locals by pulverizing some stones and rocks.

shrugging, sam decided to offer his help. better to help, than to be late. being late was never great. always made sam feel a bit like a dog without their bone, in more than one way.

Lucario were a personal favorite of hers. despite not being spooky or whimsical, Siobhan found them to be hardy and obedient. so she would set out to obtain one - hopefully - in the process of the swarm.

but her luck was also shit.

she tried to be sneaky about this. approaching from the side, she would pull out her own Lucario and order him to attack the nearest Riolu or Lucario. once the battle wrapped up, Siobhan threw a Pokeball.

This was not the first time she had encountered a swarm. During her travels, she had run into a few of them. One of her Honedges originated from one, actually, befriended by the one she’d already had. They both were floating around her in this moment, too, but mostly just in case she was noticed. These dog Pokemon were dangerous, after all. Loyal aides, certainly, if one could tame one of these guard dogs.

But that was something best done in isolation. A single Lucario could be befriended, could be tamed. Loners often looked for a place to belong, after all. But members of the pack? Unlikely. Mireille still decided to stick around on the fringes for a bit longer, in case there was one of them that did not seem to belong. But she also did what she did best when she was alone: stay quiet and observe, see what happened. That, too, was the way of a knight.

Carrying Tulip in her arms, Hye hiked further up the mountain optimistically in search of new friends to make. Further in the distance, the sound of breaking boulders caught her attention and she perked up. Deciding to try and observe for a bit before making herself known, Hye-Rin took it slow on her ascent up the mountain. She stopped when the Lucarios and Riolus came into vision, crouching behind the nearest rock and watching curiously with a smile. What to do, she thought, before reaching for a Pokeball.

And once again, Keenan found himself completely and utterly lost. How the hell did he end up in the mountains?! The blonde crawled through caves, ran from Zubat and Geodude, angered a small herd of Stantler, and ran right into a Sudowoodo. And tripped over an Arbok. It had been an interesting time. Thankfully he found a good reprieve. Then he walked some more, dirty, tired, and wanting to sleep. What he stumbled upon was a swarm of Riolu and Lucario. From what he knew, these were really rare Pokemon. And super cool looking. They almost look like dogs. Just upright and standing. He just sat down and watched in amazement. They completely ignored him. Kind of. There were three of them up on a higher level than the rest. They eyed him warily. But otherwise did nothing. They left him alone, and he did the same. He simply sat down and started taking pictures. His brother was going to be so jealous.

Elerlay sprawled himself across the top of one of the massive boulders - slowly working closer towards the edge so that he could get an over head shot of a nearby riolu. He'd spent longer than he'd admit inching across the rock but he was finally able to see the pokemon from his perch. He teetered as he slid his camera forward and aimed at the pokemon below. He'd never know if his slow army-crawl had left him unnoticed or if the riolu simply didn't care about him. Either way, he had a great view through his camera lense.

The riolu had just started it's attack, Elerlay steading his camera in anticipation, when someone called out in the distance "Who's the goodest boy here?". The riolu turned and Elerlay lifted his sight from the camera -- both peering curiously at a little girl (Eris Halla ) as she waved around a stick.

A real commotion had lead her to the jagged pass to which the rumor of a Lucario and Riolu group had been spotted, never one to completely believe in the idol talk of others Zakuro had decided to take a look for herself this time around. She had heard about them in the past but had never actually taken the time to venture out and look for the supposed swarms of Pokemon that were said to happen from time to time. She had done a little research before coming and had read that this type of Pokemon was well a little more sensitive to the presence of danger, thought in all honesty there was pretty much nothing dangerous about Zakuro in the least bit (aside from the glaring realization that she was in fact a very blunt but loveable airhead). Giving herself a good footing in order to really wing a poke ball towards the horde of Pokemon Zakuro couldn’t help but get a little excited as the ball shot off through the air.
