Swablu and chatot's round's hit their target right on the mark proving to cause quite a bit of damage since both Pokémon used the move together. Team work was going to be the key to this match's win and his Pokémon were an example of that, they were working together flawlessly to cover one another and Yui's wasn't fully using all three of them together. Time to shift gears! Time to get flexible! Yui did jump a bit when Billi appeared behind her, throwing her off and despite him not naming any moves aloud his Pokémon knew how to work together without his guidance. She quickly had to regain her composure though since her pokemon were in the middle of fighting. She didn't take her eyes off the battle field, when the mist parted and Shuckle fired it's gastro acid at porygon. She knew he was trying to stop porygon's ability and luckily he knew the perfect move to stop that. "Porygon! Use magic coat! Then fire hyper beam after!" she said quickly as the acid bounced off of porygon and aimed straight back for Shuckle who was shielded by the araquanid, however the creature began to then use mirror coat and yui needed to react to this. Luckily this is exactly why she had chatot, if a move was going to harm her team she was going to use it right back on someone else! "E1! mimic araq and shield d1!" she said as chatot glowed and mimic the same properties of Araquanid. The hyper beam bounced off of Araqnuanid back towards chatot who then reflected the attack once more back at it's original target. After that event sorted itself out she then gave swablu an objective"C1 Fly into the air above the mist and use sing! we need to get rid of the frosmoth's mist! If it attacks back use peck on it!" she said remembering her training mission with Fernando where a frosmoth had been causing the team to become blinded by a blizzard

Yui had been searching around Pokémon forums as of late searching for the latest news in things Pokémon related. However she was in DEEP dive mode, searching around for anything she didn't already know...and that's when she happened upon a new kind theory. She had heard about something called...shadow Pokémon? What in the world was this?? She had read it for a couple of minutes before recalling a recent event she'd like to forget about as quickly as possible. The recent fire, Yui actually saw a very strange phenomenon happen when a little rotom zipped around. Normally, Rotoms were orange, shiny ones are more of a reddish color...however, this Rotom..was black. She searched around for information on black Rotoms and he searches came back COMPLETELY empty, no information recorded at all.

Could it have been a shadow Pokémon? A new Rotom? This curiosity gnawed away at Yui's mind and she couldn't help herself.. Information that's unknown to a girl who knew everything about Pokémon? She couldn't allow this to happen so she grabbed her phone and began to tap away on it. She sent a text to Razz "Hey! Do you want to meet up for some coffee and desserts? My treat to thank you." she said while attaching a pin to a place she frequented at the mall. She grabbed her purse and immediately head out to the meeting area.

Usually yui held a distain for fire types, she didnt like that they literally at times spewed the one thing she had a paranoia fear over. However! Cinderace was an exception to this, it was a cute Bunny pokemon! IT ALSO DIDNT SPEW FIRE LIKE OTHER FIRE TYPES. it would coat a rock or something small in nature and encase it in flames, giving it a very fine control over it's power and intensity when shot out! Plus they WERE ADORABLE! when she heard that a bunch of them were swarming an area to learn how to control their fire she got very excited and decided to check it out instantly. She watched them (from a very far distance mind you, fire balls were still fire.) and waited for the most opportune moment to lob a pokeball at it, knowing her chances weren't that grea given how far she was from the group. She then wondered, what came first? Scorbunny or soccer? Oooo she decided to try something fun instead, She decided to follow scorbunny and cinderace's lead and decided to kick the pokeball at the swarm and see if it worked. [break][break]

Yui had visited the safari for the first time, she had heard some rather cute pokemon had been hanging around during this time of year and she was extremely interested in seeing how it would play out if she went to go try and catch some! She was especially excited to see if she could find a buneary, maybe a tauros? Oooo maybe she'll find a drampa! She had no idea and the only thing stopping her atm is her! So she ran full force into safari and began to look for special pokemon. She ran full force with her cherrim in tow running right behind her in it's sunshine form since it was already pretty bright today.

In our duo wild, could we possibly make it so Yui and Stormy are also rivals IC? Her goal is to be as strong as fern so I think it's only natural that her older sister also be a rival. It could also just be a social thread instead where they do a pokemon spar with stormy probably stomping her into the ground

Yui was kinda stunned when she heard the words coming out of Razz's mouth. She was going to interrupt and correct him before stopping herself, he probably had a reason to say all of that...why? She rolled with it for now, she was probably going to kill him later since now she was going to have to lie to her siblings as well and say she did this thing. It was a SUPER out of character thing and they all knew of her fear of fire "Y-YEAH! MY SOBBLE AND MY OSHAWATT!!" she said freaking out slightly at the people who came to see it. She really hoped this story didn't see the light of day since her siblings knew all of her Pokémon. She went over to the reporters "Look just do me a favor and dont publish this story please." she said "I'll give you some extra PD to bribe you. These kids would be in a LOT of legal trouble if you wrote this story, you wouldn't wanna give their family a big problem would you?" she said squinting at him with shifty eyes before hitting him in the metaphorical gut. "I mean i'd HATE for Silph co to have to shun the reporter who not only released a story against my own wishes but that of Fernando'sand the family's." she said sighing out loud and putting her hands outwards as she turned.

She stared at mateo, what the hell kinda- BOY IF YOU DONT- she stopped for a moment to calm herself. "They weren't worth my usual battle style. But yes you are right, I'm newer to battling but I know almost everything there is to know about Pokémon." she said as she ran her finger through one of her pig tails and flipped it. She then gave him a strange look, did he not know they weren't all related by blood? She supposed not since it was somewhat apparent by that statement. "I also cant tell if it's a compliment or insult...you aren't the best with words are you?" she said squinting at him closely trying to figure him out. "And no we aren't related by blood." she said as she walked over and opened the latch on the railing right next to Mateo that also served as a door, looking kind of smug at him a bit when she opened it. "Despite the fact I won, you should probbbs delete that video. If fern ever saw it you wouldn't get your money." she said playfully as she walked back over to the box they had.

Yui didnt say anything be remained expressionless, a low "oh." was all that managed to escape her lips. A small sweat drop appeared on her head as he was going to expose her for the gremlin she was to fernando. She couldn't let that happen...but hey, yui wasnt afraid to play dirty as well. Cause she realized, fern probably wouldn't pay him if he found out but she decided to keep that comment to herself as she could totally play this later if she decided to. But regardless the count down ended and the battle had begun, Yui was going to end this in quickly. "Ok porygon tri attack!" as three differently colored flew out towards Charmeleon, the red one landed on it but didnt do much damage to charmeleon initially. The trainer called out for a flame thrower, "Codey! Dodge with agility and then use zap canon!" she said panicking a bit since the charmeleon was faster and managed to land the flame thrower on her porygonz. It still used agility to speed up and then fired the zap cannon. After some time passed Yui and porygonz were backed into a corner but Codey managed to land it's lock on move. "I'm ending this! Porygonz! Use hyper beam!" Porygonz let out a loud cry as a beam of light appeared in front of it and then fired an almost rail gun like beam of energy at the charmeleon. It was a direct hit and the chameleon laid on the floor knocked out from porygonz's attack. Yui cheered as she had managed to win the duel! She didn't even have to resort to her style of battling that used tiles from chess. She turned over to mateo and stuck her tongue out again at him.
