Chatot sqwuaked and followed behind mateo, but this time deciding to use another phrase of yui "Stinky! Stinky!" as it flapped behind him. Back with yui however she waved to the crowd wildly as when they heard the name Silph they were extremely excited to see what she was capable of. However one person among the crowd did sound rather upset with her, damn it. Mateo had found out rather quickly what had happen. "Chatty! you were suppose to distract him! What happen?!" she said as chatot flew back over to her and perched himself on her head shouting stinky at Mateo again. Yui instead of responding to mateo's shouts just stuck her tongue out at him "Make me!" she said playfully as she turned around ready to battle the trainer with Porygon as she waited for the announcer to count down for the battle to begin. It was too late for him to do anything now...right?

Yui heard the shakeyness in his own voice, was he scared too? Why was he helping her then..? Yui felt a bit of shame in herself, here she was, a Silph needing to be rescued. What would Fernando say? What would everyone say if they knew? Wait didn't She know this guy? "Y-you were at the dinner?" she said as she paused for a moment recognizing his face. Would he tell Fernando? She couldn't act pathetic around this guy. She clenched her fist as her purse stopped it from piercing the skin on her hand.

Yui's gym challenge for Selena Desmaris finally went through and it was her turn to battle with the woman. Yui had been really anxious for this battle since Billi Marsh who she recently fought proved to be quite troublesome, she wondered how exactly she'd measure up to Selena's psychic type Pokémon. She clutched both her pokeballs in her hands as she kissed the balls "I have faith you guys wont let me down.." she said as she walked into the gym. The gym itself was very...unique there were apartments, day cares, movie houses, etc. Someone could almost live here! She approached the battle hall and walked inside to find Selena Desmarais waiting for her. "Hopefully I didn't keep you waiting. Fern always tells me Silph's cant be late but I had to make sure I was fully ready to challenge you." she said as she waited for the gym leader to respond.

Watching two powerful pokemon battle was always so exciting. Hawk was smaller but it's body showed incredible strength within it while Steelix's massive body proved rather troublesome for the Sawk to handle. The two traded blows making the arena rumble slightly with each strike to each other. As yui watched she saw how enraptured mateo was with the battle as well. She couldn't help but want to get down there too and battle as well, what better opportunity was there than to grow?! she then went on her phone and saw that she had ample wifi service....the gears in her brain began to turn until an idea formulated. She sat down on the couch and began to type like a madwoman on her phone, after a few moments she smiled wickedly, hiding it from mateo's face since he was hopefully still watching the battle very closely. She let out her chatot and began to cuddle with it speaking to it saying wow over and over until chatot began to mimic it perfectly, sounding JUST like her. [break][break]

After a few moments Mateo could still hear Yui saying wow behind her and the battle had thus ended so far and the announcer began to speak "Ladies and gentlemen! We have a special guest who applied to exhibition battle today! One of the Silphs has entered the building!! Yui Fujin Silph!" If Mateo turned around he'd realize Yui gave him the slip, she fed his pokemon some berries that had sleeping powder on it and his sceptile and dragonite were fast asleep and chatot sqwuaking wow in her voice! She waved to the crowd as she then tossed out her pokeball and released her Porygon z and it zipped around erratically and the opposing trainer released their pokemon as well, a charmeleon!

Yui was holding one of the children who couldn't get away, trying to shield him from the fire as her own body trembled from the fear of the fire. She was having an episode as all the loud noises and the fire reminded her of that ultra beast's attack on slateport. However, she suddenly saw a hand in front of her asking if she was ok. She looked up teary eyed at the man who was wearing a half mask over his face, she stuttered a bit as she gasped for air between words. "P-Please stop the F-FIre p-please." she said as she continued to panic, she wasnt thinking rationally at the moment and only instinctively grabbed onto the hand extended towards her. She stood up slowly as she looked around trying to find an escape route with razz. The rain dance and dampening did however begin to work on the fire slightly, it managed to stop it from spreading but from within more would have to be done to stop the inferno from blazing. Yui would certainly be able to help but at the moment the girl was completely out of it and needed to be brought back to reality.

The little gremlin frowned at the name of "fernando's new gal" People had been saying that recently since she was never really one for the public eye, nor did she ever really want that attention anyways, she was too focused on learning to better herself with coding. "I'm a silph too! Im not new!" she said pouting at him and stomping her foot at him as her childish tendencies showed for a moment before she caught herself and coughed slightly. "Fernie doesn't want me to bring shame to the silph name or whatever." she said as she looked over to his pokemon who were standing behind him in awe and rushed over to them quickly and petted them. "Wow! A dragonite and a sceptile! What cuties!" she said as she fawned over them both "Sceptile's bulbs are really bulby! They can help tree's grow really fast! Dragonite's also probably a really good boy, you dragonite's help save people who are drowning I read." she said as she slowly realized how she was behaving was exactly what Fernando was talking about before clearing her throat again to calm down. "A-Anyways, fine lets go inside then." she said as she followed behind him towards the desk and they were lead to the V.I.P area for the arena. It was one of those giant boxes that had a glass window in front for the two to be able to watch the battles in private and not have to worry about prying eyes and also food in case they got hungry. She walked up immediately to the glass and watched the battle down below taking place in amazement, so this was tournament style battles? How interesting..

It was starting to become troublesome with how much time Yui spent in this route, she kept feeling a pull towards this location and she couldn't figure out exactly why. Something was pulling her here and she had no idea why, she wondered if something was calling her here, a pokemon? Something else? She had no idea but it lurked in the corner of her minds every time she went away from this route. She was desperately looking around for something, even searching in the tall grass wondering if she'd even find it there when someone had snuck up behind her watching her search on the ground like a hobbit

Yui was once again out and about exploring route 120, for some reason she really really liked this route a lot, there were plenty of trees, plenty of pokemon, and a bunch of quiet places for her to relax and chill out. She didnt like the outside really but from time to time it was good to get out of the office and or her apartment and enjoy the outdoors. Especially when there was cute Pokémon around that this route was known for, however it was also known for spawning nasty dark types who liked to cause a bit of trouble for people and unfortunately Yui was about to be the victim for one of those hijinks

Yui had been sent to help out the recent institute that the league was sponsoring. As a silph she had to put on a good face and represent Silph co, sometimes she cursed her gifts for giving her more work. She sighed though, it was a simple task at least, she just had to help some guy get the login credentials and set up their work area with him. However Yui was NOT built for manual labor, in fact she absolutely abhorred it in any sense of the word. However she had to keep up good appearances for fern since she was one of the "good" or "useful" ones to him, his version of a compliment. [break][break] She was wearing casual clothing today since a regular office outfit wouldnt be very useful for cleaning up now would it? She opted to wear a black tanktop with an oversized flannel jacket covering it and jean shorts and her flats. She walked over to the lab by herself, she told the person...what was his name? Oh yeah hendrix emmerson instructions on how to reach the office and that after they finished cleaning she'd take him on a tour of silph since fernando wanted him to be familiar with the new work enviornment. When Hendrix arrived he'd see a girl sitting on a computer as the screen reflected back onto her face as she was typing away. "Frickin frick, of course the login they gave me wasnt working. I'll have to fix it myself." she mumbled to herself as a porygon-z stared blankly at the screen observing the coding at work.

Yui had decided to go pay respects for the new year at a shrine near the route she typically hung around. On route 120 yui had recently begun to visit a lot of the time and would usually walk by a smaller shrine that was often deserted and not really taken care of. The poor deity there must be so lonely not having a lot of people visit it...maybe..[break] [break]

Yui decided it would be a good way to start off the new year by helping a shrine deity's year be a bit better by her coming to pray to the spirit that resided there. Yui showed up in a traditional kimono and a small purse containing her Pokémon inside and a few of her items she usually carried on her. She fixed her hair as she arrived but the usual serene quietness of the shrine is replaced with the sound of a couple of kids who were screaming and shouting. How RUDE! Shrines are meant to be sacred! what were they doing here?! She stomped over to them and shouted at the kids "What are you kids doing?! this is a shrine! you're disrespecting the shrine and it's spirit!" she said as one of the kids got freaked out and accidently dropped the lighter for the fireworks they were going to light, sending it straight into the forest surrounding them.

[break][break]The kids had attempted something called a giant fireworks fiesta or something and the entire thing went up engulfing the shrine and transforming it into a hellish scape. Yui was then paralyzed with fear as she rememebred the events of the blacepheon attacking slateport as if it was yesterday.
