The mist and liquidation combination really annoyed her, a cheap tactic is still a useful tactic in her opinion. Porygon and chatot both took those hits directly as the pokemon flew back from the attacks, it was her fault for not reacting in time so she gritted her teeth and freaked out a bit mentally. Watching her pokemon get hit was actually really frustrating but she had to remain calm like fernando reminded her. So Frostmoth is working to cover his other Araquanid? Could her team do something like that? She looked over at her options with what her Pokémon could possibly do. "Ok guys Lets do this! All three of you to positions. C1 D 1 E1" she said as her Pokémon fell back to in front of her, she raised her Pokémon to respond to chess quadrants with D1 being the space in front of her. Her pokemons gathered together. Swablu on C, porygon on D and Chatot on E, she then began to issue her commands. "Chatot! Swablu! use round!" she said as swablu began the attack and chatot began to use his voice to mimic Swablu's cry. Normally this attack was not very strong on it's own, but when more than one Pokémon used it, It's power would raise dramatically. In addition to that, even if the mist was incredibly thick sound based attacks wouldn't be affected by the mist. "Porygonz if one of them shows up use lock on it!" she said as she bided her time, however the Queen of chess hurt a little knowing that porygon might have to take another hit from araquanid again.

It'd been far too long since Yui had spent time with her family, well her foster family but family nonetheless. She liked spending time with her sister stormy but with everything that had been going on with the war recently Yui had opted to stay out of the way and not demand time with her sister. However things were different now, due to Fernando's demeaning comments during their recent field work assignment she was determined to grow. But just challenging gyms weren't enough, Yui had to expand that and what better way than to kill two birds with one stone? Her foster sister was one of the elite four, surely just hanging out with her would increase Yui's...exp total? The girl couldn't think of any better way than to phrase it as such. She sent a text to her sister

She invited her to route 116 asking for her to spend time with her and bring some pokeballs along with her.

The young woman still gleefully hugged onto her Mightyena plushie, while watching as everyone else opened their presents. She was mostly uninterested until Bailey Cooper opened her present. She kept looking between the Mightyena plushie doll and the plaque that says FERNANDO SILPH 's favorite employee. Her face immediately showed torn and anguish emotions mixing around inside of her, what was she to pick? The Mightyena doll was extremely cute but being able to flaunt that present to all her siblings and co workers would be something she'd really enjoy since she was the self proclaimed Fern's favorite out of the Silph bunch. She gritted her teeth, god damn it she could make fernando buy her a present, or someone else! OR JUST BUY ONE HERSELF! "Im gonna steal that plaque!" she said as she came over with the mightyena plushie and handed it to bailey "You better treat this plushie with respect! It's a very good boy." she said playfully. She gave anyone dagger stare if anyone even attempted to try and steal the plaque from her cold dead hands.

Think creatively huh? Yui had always been a creative thinker, it was part of her job as a coding monkey (as she called it) to come up with new types of code that could do unique things, push the boundaries of computers and their limits. That should be able to translate to Pokémon battles....right? Well despite her age the girl was still rather inexperienced with battles, a bookworm who's an encyclopedia of Pokémon with little to no experience in actual battles. She could literally hear stormy laughing at her right now, she scratched her head in annoyance with this whole thing. Training was not going to be easy was it? This shuckle was already having a great fucking time already using trick room to make any super fast pokemon extremely slow. She sighed out loud "I don't think that was a good idea for an opening move." she said moving backwards as she made room for the battle area outside. "Power trick, a move that makes shuckle's incredible defense into an incredible attack. Correct?" she said raising a finger into the air. "But that leave you wide open to taking a lot of damage for his lowered defense." as she quoted from her cyclopedic knowledge. "So! Chatot! you're up!" she said tossing out her pokeball as it shouted it's name out-loud "I'm also going to be using my swablu and my porygonz." she said casually as she then put her arm outwards "Chatot! lets use this to our advantage! Use taunt! Then follow up with a chatter!" she said as she plugged her ears with her fingers as Chatot began to shout indiscriminately at the shuckle as taunt went into effect, she then followed up with it's signature move chatter as Chatot began to sqwuak in a voice similar to Yui's "STIMKYYYY"

Yui had been bugging Fernando to go with her to see the Pokémon tournaments happening in town because of the new year festivals going on. However he was extremely busy but didn't trust her alone to not get into trouble, so he had decided to ask if Mateo had spare time to babysit the girl despite her 20 years of age. It was purely so she wouldn't get into trouble and cause a headache for Fernando and or the league or Silph co or anyone in general. She had arrived at the lobby for the battle, it was night time and she was dressed in a full traditional yukata from Kanto. She waited outside for him to show up. She believe she got a glance of him during the dinner for new years but she wasn't entirely sure if it was the right Mateo or not. He was apparently one of the Elite 4 so she was going to try to be on her best behavior for him. Emphasis on try.

Yui was just out and about enjoying her day on a farm playing with some pokemon at the ranch. She recently caught a milk-tank so she wanted to let run around and enjoy itself in a ranch with other ranch pokemon. On top of that milktank every so often need to be milked so Yui donated the milk to the farm in exchange for letting milktank run around and play after. However what Yui did NOT expect was running into an older woman who was looking for her child? "Mam this is a ranch?" she said in an annoyed tone "Not a playground for your child..." she then squinted at her, suspiciously since who the heck loses their child at a farm? Completely forgetting she was here to play with pokemon. She then turned around to see the gogoats heading right for her she then called out to her milktank "Milktank! High horse power the gogoat!" she said as the milktank began to rush towards it and drop kick the hell out of the gogoat.

Yui was once again out and about looking for Pokémon to claim for herself. This time She decided to visit 116 because she heard there was a good amount of psychic types and normal types who called this route their homes. She was really interested in psychic types since she didn't really have any on her team, and now with silph co backing her she had an abundant access to money to pokeballs that'd feed her love for having a wide variety of Pokémon. On top of that psychics were extremely intelligent Pokémon so maybe she could teach it to play chess with her! She was always looking for someone to play games with her, even basic ones would be very useful to stave off boredom for the young child. With that in mind the driver opened to the door for Yui and she hopped out with swablu sitting on her head as if she had a funny little hat on her head. She thanked the driver and told him she'd be back within the hour and he could come back then. She then had to promise to call if anything happen to which she did with her fingers crossed behind her back. After walking for a while Yui then encountered a wild pokemon!

Yui had looked around as he whistled, why the hell was he- Yui then stumbled a bit as an army of Pokémon ran over to Billi. A bunch of different Pokémon hung around a majority of them bug types but a few bug like Pokémon as well. She looked around amazed, holy..."Uhh-" she said before realizing that trying to formulate a strategy would be little to impossible with all these mons. She took a deep breath and looked around trying to take her time, she could choose the Pokémon who would be obviously weaker than hers because that would be extremely cheap. This challenge was meant to make her grow like Fernando had told her to do, she looked away from the baby Pokémon. She also looked away from the corviknight since she didn't want to subject the poor creature to that kind of torture due to it's past. She let out a large sigh "I see. This is rather difficult, there's such a wide variety.." she said "But I pick. Araquanid, Shuckle and uhhhh...frosmoth." she said just choosing them at random at this point, she had faith in her Pokémon's strategies and tactics instead of what their opponents can do. "Is that alright with you? I want it to be a fair fight." she said doubting her choices for a bit.

A milktank! Yui looked at the milktank as Chatot kind of tilted it's head at it to try and get a better look at it. Milktank looked at Yui with joy in it's eyes, it's a very friendly Pokémon from what Yui had learned about it from researching. She walked over to the milktank and offered it the rest of her granola bar to which Milktank happily obliged. She devoured the granola bar and looked at Yui for more to which Yui pulled out another and offered the entire one to her once again. Milktank happily cheered "Milk!" outloud and chatot decided to sqwuak and mimic the milktank "Milk! milk! milk!". She decided to pat the Milktank's back as it ate the granola bar. "Do you wanna come and be my friend miss milktank?" she asked curiously to which Milktank happily mooed back at her and licked the top of her head since chatot was flying in circles around them, giving her a cowlick in her hair. Yui took that as a yes and pulled out a pokeball for her and booped her on the side with it activating the capture function of it. Once it was successful Yui smiled and jumped up and down.

So she had finally made her way in! Success! She had gained access to basic level things, web traffic information, all of this could be potentially useful, maybe sold to Silph's competitors to gain insight from this information? But that type of thing didn't interest her, she didn't hate Silph co, in fact she was thankful for pokeballs since it allowed her to have special friends in her Pokémon. So no information trading for her, not like there was anything crazy really just basic employees complaining about nontrivial stuff like the weather and the stock markets and stuff. Yui decided to ignore all of the white noise, she hunkered down and began to get to work. She got denied access several times, jimmying the lock was not going to be an effective method. Surely they had captcha fail safe to check for bots and doing it by hand was out of the question because she'd literally go insane and not make any progress. So what was the wee lass going to do? Well, those emails from earlier seemed to give her little tidbits of info that were...interesting. Gossip here, gossip there surely these people's accounts were not as secure as the rest of the server.

[break][break] She got to work trying to steal one of their employee accounts to see if she could then work her way up the chain of command to get a higher clearance level for herself. Surely a supervisor account was within her grasp for someone of her skill. Porygon z stared blankly at the code noticing some suspicious code but nothing too out of the ordinary. She tapped away at her computer, pissing off the the other child who got angry at her and offered a hushed "shhh" noise. She stared at the child and gave him a scary stare that made him reel back into his respective bed.

Yui happened to find a purrloin wandering about in the area. She looked at it as it calmly meowed at her and stared blankly into her soul. The purrloin did look a bit pudgy, maybe it was hungry? Yui dug around in her pockets seeing if she had any food on her which sadly she didn't. to which purrloin did not take kindly to, she knew this Pokémon was a little thief so she instantly threw out a pokeball and called out her Chatot which hyper voiced at the purrloin knocking it out. She let out a sigh of relief as she pulled out a granola bar from her pocket and munched on it. She even gave the tiniest bite to chatot since it was pokemon friendly. "Good job chatty, it almost stole our snacks! Whelp onto the next one I suppose?" she said as chatot came to land on her head and sat down comfortably waiting for the next Pokémon to appear.

Yui had been wandering around exploring the sites Hoenn had to offer now that she had a better means of travel via silph's drivers. She had decided to visit route 120 since she heard that there she could find an abundance of normal type pokemon! But on the down side there was a couple of dark types. She knew that they had their own advantages and weaknesses but there was not a lot of dark type pokemon she was particularly fond of so it made it a bit difficult. But! Hopefully she'd find what she wants instantly! Or so, she thought however fate most likely held a fate that would not please the little terror.

"Oh. I see, well I hope it feels better soon." she said trying to wish him the best in his road to recovery. Was this a game? She got to chose who she was fighting? Maybe there's a clue or a trick to this gym that the challengers at to pick.. Hmmm. She got wayyy too ahead of herself right at the very beginning, the little gremlin thought that this was going to surely be a breeze. "Alright I pick a lake and all three of your Pokémon are magickarp." she said as she waited for him to lead her to a lake and used magickarps. From an outsider's perspective someone would have thought she was joking but the driver handling her knew that she was being dead serious.

[break][break]He approached the girl and spoke to her "Miss Fujin, I'm sure that is again-" Before Yui looked right at the driver and cut him off "He didn't state that in any of the rules he just said though, he said I could pick three Pokémon for him to use as long as it matched the stage." as a confused look appeared across her face, he driver gave her a certain look and Yui coughed. "Fine. I'm going to assume there's a limit like he said, may I see all of the Pokémon involved?" The driver sighed a bit as the Gremlin at least greed to cooperate
