Yui was in her room, typing quietly away in her room. She took special care to make sure her keystrokes weren't too loud less she wake up the other gremlins who were residing in her orphanage and they blow the lid on her whole operation. Her hair was pulled back into a ponytail and her posture was horrid as the glow from the laptop filled her bunk in the bunk bed. She had a very very special mission tonight, getting into the league's database just to see if she could. It wouldn't be much longer now, her porygon-z was zooming around in her laptop checking for any kind of strange code that might tip them off to her presence and correcting it. She smiled at it and it just stared blankly at her in return, that means he was smiling at her too. [break][break]

Success! Porygon z rematerialized out of the computer and nudged himself onto her face trying to receive his reward for helping her. She patted him on his head and began to feel the adrenaline rush of what she just did. The league itself wasn't immune to her own talents, what else would be larger than the league? There were almost no potential harder challenges...except.. She looked at her pokeball for codey and had an idea..silph co. What exactly she was looking for? No idea, she just wanted access plain and simple just to see if she could do it. No, she KNEW she could do it. Porygon-z stared at her blankly once again, only offering a small bzzzz noise as it watched her open her laptop again and began to type. One of the children woke up and watched her for a few moments silently before falling back asleep. After a couple hours of working, Yui finally made a dent and wiggled her way into silph's server. Unknowingly she set off some alarms to a certain person who would not be forgiving about this.

Yui was joyfully swung her feet from the chair she was sitting in. She never really celebrated an event like this before so she was kind of excited. Of course she was only really excited for the gift part, these people were kind of rich so she was wondering what kind of fancy shamncy gift she would get from this. She looked over at fern and gave a soft smile, "You're gift is really pretty Mr silph. I'm sure whoever gets it will like it." By comparison she lifted up her own gift that was rather crudely packaged. The paper and materials were the same as his but Yui INSISTED she wrap it herself as a matter of pride to prove she could do it, but she was blind to how bad the actual wrapping was. She however locked eyes onto mateo martinez 's mightyena plushie.

[break][break] It was so poorly wrapped that yui could tell from the outline it was some kind of pokemon's shape but what it exactly was, remained a mystery. She ran over to it and grabbed it when it was her turn "Mine!" she shouted as she bolted over to it. She opened it, tearing the paper to shreds and saw it was a mightyena plushie. She hugged it and proclaimed "I love it!" pretending it was an actual mightyena.

Yui sat in the car as her driver was taking her to the new Petalburg gym. She was determined to start challenging gyms, Fernando did put the idea in her head unintentionally, by facing trials that would push her growth. She knew her strength in battle was knowing info on the Pokémon before hand, however she was horrid at changing tactics on the fly to suit the situation. What better challenge was there for her to grow and adapt than challenging the gyms? jokes on anyone who answered, there wasn't! She didn't know very much about this gym leader, they were still new to this she believed since she only recently learned about them. Was a limo really that necessary? she sighed in the car, of course fernando had to show his wealth every chance he got. [break][break]

When she got down from the car, Billi would see a small girl in a long pink dress with little feather tufts covering her ears as decorations from her flying Pokémon. She looked around, not really having ever been to petal burg before, the soft grass beneath her feet made her toes feel nice. This area was really well taken care of huh? She looked over to Billi, he was a tall strong man who was wearing nothing but overalls. She looked at his hand, noting that it was the "improper hand" but Yui wasn't as uptight as fern was. She did appreciate that he just demanded the most out of everyone but she didn't have time for such things. She extended her small hand to him and shook it, "Hello. I'm Yui Fujin, it's nice to meet you too Billi Marsh." she said freezing up a bit as she got nervous around new people. However a chaotic little gremlin was hiding underneath the surface of that young face. "Yes I am. What happen to your hand?" she said curiously as she looked at the bandages that adorned it.

Past:
yui has no recollection of her real parents, the orphanage only knew that yui was sent from kanto from a young age. that was it, however she wasn't long for the orphanage. as the silphs came to town and began to adopt children who showed promising potential, she had a spectacular talent for coding. as evident when yui at a very young age attempted to hack into the silph co database, she was almost successful before getting caught by fernando silph's parents who instead of imprisoning's the girl for a long long time invited her into joining their family instead. she obviously accepted since she really didn't have much of a choice in the matter since the other options was unthinkable.

several years later fernando silph returned from his adventure and met his new family, yui was still relatively young upon his return and was instantly attached to him since he was the last real silph and connection to her foster parents. she spent a lot of time with fern, playing chess and a wide variety of games (when he'd allow it of course.) and grew attached to him and her new family. they'd play games together often, her favorite being chess in which they both were worthy opponents for one another as their scores are currently even.

Yui listened to fernando's words. She didnt like them, but she didnt like them because she knew he was right. She was a novice trainer with a lack of experience. She knew she didnt even come CLOSE to him in terms of raw battles, but she expected herself to be able to do what he does... She had however paused for a moment when he mentioned going through trials. Trials hardened the heart and mind or some wise wisdom like that huh? "Trials huh..?" she said petting her Pokémon after she ensured they were ok. She felt like deep down Fernando did want the best for her, even if his methods weren't the kindest. She let a small smile spread across her face as she felt like she had a new goal in mind thanks to his words. [break][break][break]

Yui looked at kim when he called her a gremlin, she wanted to laugh but she knew if she did fern would give her a stern look so she tried to act like she was unfazed by the comment but gave a small smile to the man. She also looked over to Selena Desmarais as she spoke about Fernando, she apparently liked him somewhat but found him obnoxious at times. To which Yui REALLY wanted to make a small giggle, at but she suppressed it as hard as she could since he would probably make her eat at the kid's table, or really by herself. [break][break]

Afterwards Yui remained mostly quiet at the table, she knew that when adults were talking it would be rude of her to interrupt. On top of that these people were all related to the league, some people were hurdle's she'd have to jump over during the gym challenges, others were even elite 4 or involved in some big way... She began to get a small pit in her stomach, she wasn't used to these types of situations. She was just an orphan girl with a talent for software and hacking. However there was a woman at the table that the man from earlier (kim cole-essam) regarded as...stormcloud. Was she the stormy silph that she heard so much of? [break][break]

She was very very pretty in person. She seemed so confident as well...maybe hanging around her would help some of it rub off on herself? How could she even get the woman's attention? She knew Fern had a...slight distaste for her, but Yui wondered if she'd feel the same way. Surely by now stormy would notice the young girl staring at her with awe but if she tried to talk to her Yui would instantly freeze up. But wave a small hi to her as she continued to eat her food

She looked at fern angrily, she had that! Well she didn't really but she was too prideful to admit it. Her last gambit was gonna be to perish song the enemies Pokémon's with Cotton, but she really didn't want to have to resort to doing that. She looked over at Tapu Fini, for some reason fearing the creature, it was an immensely strong Pokémon that instantly wiped away all the nearby snow from the landscape. "That's easy for you to say! They all feared you and ran off as soon as they saw Fini use her power! If I had power likes yours's id have been able to handle it that easily!" she said as she let her emotions get the best of her. She was after all, still a child, despite all that brain she had for coding. [break][break]

She however walked back to all her Pokémon, chatot and porygonz were looking rough and Swablu also had took a bit of a beating as well. She took out some potions and called them over to her and patted them all "I'm sorry I let you guys get so hurt..you all did very well.." she said as she sprayed the potions onto their wounds to try and heal them. She took a moment to kind of look back at fernando "How did you manage to even get that strong? able to get a legendary Pokémon like tapu fini?"
