A startled sound left Skids as a pokemon shrieked and slammed into his face, causing the man to stagger backwards. His muffled voice could be heard and the pokemon seemed to scurry up his face and took to being on his head. A cough left him and he noticed the puffy feathers that slowly drifted down. Raising a brow, he glanced up and could notice something...cloud like for just a moment. Then came that sound, the pokemon chirped and he could feel something of a smaller size shift around on his head. ALready he had a idea but as he tried to look up a bit better, the blue face and beady black eyes were peaking down at him. A big grin quickly came to his face.
"You're a swablu!" Skids remarked, his voice filling with excitement but he was trying to keep a quieter voice as to not scare the bird further.
A chirp left them as they shrank back, disappearing from his view. Well...what did he do now? He could try to remove em but...it was a swablu! He remembered trying to catch one in his youth but wasn't able to do it. They just didn't seem to be around the days he tried. If he just let it go though..was he going to find another one? He could feel the pokemon lighting pecking his head, and once in a while it would tug on his grey hairs. Was it trying to make a little nest? Potentially..well with no other ideas, he took out a pokeball and attempted to catch the pokemon with a very silly maneuver; since he had to strain a bit to boop the pokemon with the pokeball.
"I might've made a new friend!" Skids called over to em. "Other than that no, it's just a room full of boxes that look...a bit too destroyed to be worth going through."
Eventually, he went to catch up to Noelani and gave a small sigh. While the swablu was a great find, he didn't know if he could take another scare like that.
"WEll it's probably wise to not split up in seperate halls..." Skids remarked, just to be safe after all. "We could try going to the right?"
