[attr="class","hanatext"]There are some nights where the stars just won't shine. It isn't as if the world has shifted in such a cosmically drastic manner, nor are the stars drowned out by the glaring city lights. The night just seems so quiet, devoid of the wishes placed upon those tiny lights in the distance even as the dots swirl into an unconceivable mess.

A shadowy hand reaches out, placed upon her own as its owner gurgles softly. Beside her, a Mimikyu sits, unnaturally patient as he tilts his gaze up to the sky. From her lips, the heaven draw a prayer, one knowingly lost to the winds as she seeks answers that the gods do not have.

How long can she keep this up? How long more will she have to keep going for?

Hoisting the Mimikyu onto her lap, Lilith sighs as she kicks back, bare feet dangling off the boardwalk as she breathes in the salty sea breeze.

"11 years and going... Think this year is gonna be any better?"

There's a hint of panic that surges through her when she recognises those clothes and one that commands her to act quickly lest she be shackled once more. Without a word, Lilith releases a Kirlia, grabbing hold of Hex and Teleporting away from the scene. There's no telling how things would have turned out had they realised she didn't have an identification, though she's pretty sure she may have caused a little bit of trouble for the barkeep.

Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.

There's almost a hint of nostalgia in her voice as she leads the way through the icy tunnels, a camera safely slung across her torso with a strap as her gaze follows after the black woollen blob ahead of her. Ever since she'd scoped Shoal Cave out for a botanical expedition, she's been frequenting it much more often, always going back to the same spots to check if the seeds she's planted have germinated or simply withered away.

Perhaps, it's why she's taken up the mantle of being a photographer for the day, picking out a job to these icy caverns just to earn a little money on the side. Despite her wishes to render help to others where she can, she still does need ways to keep the food on her companion's plates. Up ahead, a low bleat rings out, calling for her attention as she picks up her pace.

"What did you find, Rubia?"

The question posed is more of a platform to appease the Wooloo's sense of independence than it is for her to catch onto the mysteries before them. In fact, her gaze is already locking on the restless girl standing at the cavern entrance as she sings a melody for the passing sea breeze. With an excited bleat and a hop, Rubia bounds over to the stranger and nudges them gently, attempting to catch their attention and perhaps, make a new friend today.

Lilith approaches soon after, her words seemingly stuck in her throat as she sways her weight from one foot to another.

[attr="class","hanatext"]Lilith's a little uncertain what to do when everyone's losing their minds over something but if it's anything that involves her or her pokemon, she's not quite going to stand by and let it happen. As the scorned lady swoops in for a hit, she's already grabbing onto the Mimikyu, hugging it close to her chest if not to protect him, then to save that bridesmaid from a potentially gruesome fate.

Hex growls, snarling against her grasp as his shadowy tendrils thrash for a chance to break skin but he is denied the sweet colours of blood, his head vigorously shaking as he lets out a shriek. Then he falls silent, still as a doll as Lilith gently rocks him with a melody.

"Hush." She whispers, her gaze lingering on the crumbling scene around her before latching onto the man, watching how he positions himself for the shot and noting every detail his appearance provides. He seems dignified, well accustomed to being in control even if the world he has to rule is naught but ruins - A public figure most likely, but not one that immediately comes to mind. She'll have to brush up her knowledge of notable names in this region later.

Once scratches his shot, she takes her turn at the shot, placing her Mimikyu on the table edge and breaking the stack neatly. None goes in but she's more or less expected it with her shaken nerves.
