Any pokemon with a great enough desire could easily find ways to overpower and outdo other way bigger or stronger than them, examples being Hex and his will to destroy anything that upsets him.

"Probably wander around the region a little more... There's still a lot to do..." She's vague in her response, clearly attempting to skirt around giving an exact answer as she turns her gaze towards Hex. "I'll head home once things are done for the day..." Recollections of this exact lie come straight back to her, the smile that Rowan had given back then still lingering in her thoughts.

"Don't like battling. Never liked the idea of my companions getting hurt..." But she's quickly torn away from those memories, her gaze flicking to Amor for a brief second before slipping away once more. "They were... rescued from unfortunate circumstances... never dealt well with injuries ever since..." Though not the entire truth, Lilith isn't exactly lying with the way she phrases her answers, the trailing off of her words soon tucked away with a sip of warm chamomile.

"Becoming a champion is an admirable goal though. Lots of trainers hope to do it but not all of them make it."

[attr="class","hanatext"]After a day of hard work, Lilith knows that help can never go unrewarded, especially when it comes to the littlest of friends. The picnic mat is laid under the sprawling shade of an evergreen, a variety of drinks, snacks and berries received from the earlier harvest all on display. Following the terrible growling of his stomach, the Mimikyu dives straight into the food without the slightest bit of manners, shadowy tendrils desperately grabbing at the sweets and yanking them straight under his disguise.

"Slow down, Hex... You're going to end up choking..." Picking up a cinnamon bun for herself, Lilith seems to be way more composed than her companion, unusually dainty from the way she sits to how she eats. Always taking small bites, swallowing before she speaks and ironing out the creases in her clothes from time to time; Anyone would wonder how such a trainer would have gotten such an ill-mannered pokemon but it seems that she's all too used to Hex's behaviour, resigned to slipping him small reminders as the food continues to vanish without a trace.

"You should probably grab whatever you like before Hex consumes it all... You especially, Adontis... Don't let him bully you into giving your food up..."

[attr="class","hanatext"]Arceus held no mercy for her soul. If it did, she clearly wasn't feeling any of it. From the witnessing of a man getting literally yeeted off the cliff by the force of the explosion to the fact that bomberhead is already setting himself up for a second detonation, Lilith can only provide two words.

"Fucking hell."

The words are lost to the Explosion, a shimmering barrier put up once more to Protect her as Mars hoots at the riot. When she had read about dangers of the job, she had considered the possibility of running into Team Rocket. But nothing about it had described the possibility of resurrected pokemon, or a maniac armed with Arceus knows how many Voltorbs for that matter.

As soon as the dust settles, Lilith is bending down towards the ground, picking a few pieces of gravestone debris and taking aim before tossing it in @oakly's direction. Whether it hits or is reflected, she holds no expectations, only the hope that she can gain his attention.

"Hey dumbass! Life's a bitch already, you don't have to make it any worse!" Pointing to the cliff side, she's struggling to control her temper, a rarely seen beast lurking in her gaze as she raises her voice over the madness. "Someone just fell off the cliff because of your damn explosions."

Of course, she realises the gravity of such a statement, her Corvisquire summoned once more and her eyes drifting back to Thea as the Kirlia meets her gaze. As soon as she's done treating priam conrad, she Teleports away, hoping to find whoever rolled down the mountain as Kin searches from the sky.

Eva Morales too, seems invested in fighting the trainer of the Mega Audino, far too busy to tend to search duties as she and her team work to fend off yet another zombie. Spying an approaching Lurantis carcass, Lilith signals for Mars to attack, keeping it back with a Hydro Pump.

"If you're done trying to kill everyone here, try helping out for a change why don't you?"

[attr="class","hanatext"]Imagine running into a Pichu that gave up its berry and promptly scampered away… As far as Lilith knows, this is probably going to be the least of her problems should the Pichu bring company. And her gut instincts are immediately proven right by the rustling of foliage nearby, footsteps growing steadily in volume as she looks up to meet the eyes of a stranger.

"It's… not a problem…" In fact, she doesn't see the harm caused by the little slipup - If it even is one to begin with. Confusion dusts her expression as she watches the duo bow, but she supposes it's one of the many weird ways that people express apologies… Right?

"Lilith." Her response is kept brief, uncertainty hinging off her words as she nods at his questions. "Hex is… a troublemaker, to say the least." The Mimikyu jumps in response to his name being called, rapidly abandoning his post of de-shrubbery as a mix of twigs and leaves scatters from his head. And he is quick to reach her side, his head flopping from the momentum of his movement as he stares Adontis down. Then, he growls, shaking vigorously as a shadow tendril begins to peek from under his cloak, only to be stopped by a gentle hand placed on his head.

"Sorry, he just tends to get a little aggressive around other pokemon… Not all Mimikyus are like that though, if you're worried about it…" She keeps a steady rhythm with her hand, rubbing Hex's back in circular motions before signalling for him to return to shredding the overgrowth for berries. And he complies, albeit with a hint of hesitation, huffing as he creates some distance between him and the Pichu.

"Feel free to do what you like…" She can't exactly stop him, neither does she feel like exerting more effort than necessary to do so. As long as Adontis doesn't try to pull any tricks on Hex, he will remain on his best behaviour and all will be well.

[attr="class","hanatext"]Despite her initial thoughts of letting the League personnel fight things out while she handled her task, there is a hint of surprise that accompanies her words as she spares a sidewards glance towards priam conrad.

"Not suited for combat. Hex would just lash out at anyone possible and that hinders us more than these monsters." As much as she wishes to humour the child-man with a joking response, Lilith isn't quite one to turn to humour in times of stress. Instead, she's keeping a steady hand on the sap vials, her gaze partially wandering over his bruised and battered body as she briefly considers what she can actually contribute to an all-out brawl.

But before she can finish her thoughts, she feels the tug of an unexplainable force sharply yanking her away from the tree, her mind flaring with warning signs as she braces for impact. And it's a harsh tumble and roll against the rocky terrain, the shattering of fragile glass reaching her ears as she cusses right under her breath.

"Thea, help." She calls, a Kirlia quickly appearing by her side and taking hold of her sleeve before Teleporting them back to the tree. Strangely enough, Priam seemed to have avoided the brunt of the attack, having hung on before he'd been tossed far away.

"Probably doing better than you are." Answering Priam's question with an attempted joke of her own, Lilith motions for the Kirlia to move over to him as she turns her attention back to the samples - Some are broken, some seemed to have disappeared with the winds whilst a fortunate few have survived through the sudden force. The state of these vials raises an alarming possibility in her mind, but she abandons those theories in favour of working to recover whatever's left.

On the other hand, Thea is hovering over priam conrad with an excessive concern, her brows creasing ever so slightly as she reaches out to his wounds, her hands glowing as she uses Heal Pulse to treat them. With the last of the biosamples collected, Lilith gets to her feet and whistles for Mars, pointing him in the rough direction of their next target and sending him off.

"Try not to aggravate your wounds. I'll leave Thea to help you till you're good to go. Meanwhile, I'm going to check if that bomber is alive or something."

Though the field seems to descend into madness faster than she can possibly say 'fuck', Lilith finds herself unshaken by the sheer chaos, readily adjusting to the sudden rush of conflicting stimuli with a sharp inhale.

"Mars!" With people and corpses busting out of the ground to Voltorbs exploding around the tree, her first instinct is to recall all her Pokemon, tossing up a new pokeball as the Swampert heeds her call. In seconds, a barrier surrounds the duo to Protect as the heat and shockwave of the Explosion rushes towards them. While they narrowly avoid injuries, it seems that the others aren't quite as lucky, a brief flash of concern trickling through her veins as she realises that Eva Morales is nowhere to be found.

Regardless, this is no place for her to simply linger and pray, a hand tapping the Swampert's shoulder as she beckons it to follow quickly. Her job here is to collect biosamples of the tree, not mess around with zombies or tango with whatever enemy forces decide to interfere. Thankfully, they aren't too far from the tree, relief flooding her being as she realises the explosion hasn't quite manage to rip into its bark just yet. There are perhaps a few char marks and new scratches formed but other than that, the tree just seems to glow with an unnatural life, beckoning for her to step closer.

So she does, quick instructions given to Mars to keep a lookout whilst her hands gently trace the bark for any deep cuts - Anything less than 2 inches won't work, experience nags her in the back of her mind. And perhaps, the explosion is a sort of blessing in disguise, pieces of grave shrapnel lodged into the tree meaning many spots to work with.

Settling down before one of them, Lilith carefully pries the shrapnel out, tapping the tree as she attaches several vials to collect the sap. While that's left to sit, she readily peeling away bits of broken bark from yet another shrapnel site and collecting the soil around the tree's roots, sealing a few samples in small packets each before keeping them into her pouch.

There is a chance of contamination, she sighs but there isn't really time to be finicky about the condition of her workspace. Just think of this as any regular sample collection... but with explosives and zombies.

[attr="class","hanatext"]Though the night is quiet without a trace of human activity, the sea is far from being empty like the shore. Ripples bloom from the movement of creatures underwater, heads peeking from the blurry depths as curious souls surface to catch a glimpse of these travellers.

With every new face that passes, Hex twitches, his lifeless head flopping from one side to another as he shakes to ward off any that come too close. And he succeeds for most, scaring away a few Magikarpa and Feebas with a menacing, ritualistic dance of his own creation. Though she can't quite be certain if they're scared or simply uninterested in dealing with yet another weirdo in their waters.

It isn't that far along that she spies a strange thing in the waters, a pristine white set of stones simply floating along. For Hex, it's something that draws in his attention like a pack of ravenous Arbok, a strangled growl rumbling through his disguise as shadowy hands slither from beneath.

"Hex." Her voice is steady but her actions betray her, fingers reaching for the pokeball in her bag as she carefully steps up to him. "Easy there." It takes a solid minute but eventually she gets close enough to touch him, placing a hand upon his head while sitting down by the platform's edge. Just as her feet are close enough to touch the water surface, a Wailmer finally shows itself, its smile growing ever wider as it hums in their presence.

Reaching into her pockets, Lilith pulls out a few berries, giving some to Hex before offering the rest to the tiny whale.

"Nice to meet you..."
