the Screech hurt Lorelai's ears, her sensitive horns tingling and lowering her Defense. the Whimsicott would glow again, quivering as stats were raised. her Attack grew.

"Giga Drain."

once the Ice Beam hit again, it was a frigid knock on her health. the Whimsicott would once more begin to suck life from the Tyranitar, trying to sap away at whatever she could get.

"may the rest of your fights be as victorious."

Siobhan tilts her head to Sénon Game respectfully, pleased that the Riolu and his trainer had the manners she had come to expect (though most of the time be disappointed) from others.

Kabuki had fought well for a newer Pokémon of hers. she would keep him around for a bit longer, train him more and teach him other moves. "if you will excuse me" Siobhan adds to the man, hopping off stage.

if there was nothing else, she should go find another foe to do battle.

"that does sound delicious" Siobhan comments, ordering a recyclable plastic cup of it "thank you, Evette." she adds as the vendor prepares her order. part of the reason she liked events like this was for the foreign delicacies.

Siobhan had only ever been to Johto, Galar and now Hoenn. there would be time to try Hoennian delicacies. she had her share of Galarian and Johtotian. Kalos was the next stop after all this war ended.

t'was a good thing the Life Dew was used when it was. with nearly full health now, Lars' Pokémon's' attacks didn't damage them as badly. both attacks hit where they wanted, but Toxapex snapped out of confusion long enough for it to use Venoshock on the Starmie.

Selkie retaliated by using Hydro Pump on the ninja, her attack not as effective but it was something. the Primarina was freshly caught, so she didn't have a wide arsenal like Tyrant.

this was the last move it seemed. Kabuki was slowing down and he eventually fell in battle. the Peck wasn't enough to take out the Riolu, try as he might. "you did wonderfully" Siobhan praised as the light left the bird's eyes and he fell forward "thank you."

she would recall the Oricorio in a flash of like. "and thank you, for the bout" Siobhan's eyes drifted to Senon's face, a thin smile appearing. she did not widely smile so it was nothing against Senon. the woman had indeed enjoyed the battle.

it was next to impossible to speak to the other human from underwater. Siobhan drifted near the surface but also did not surface. just enough for her breathing tube to suck in much needed air before she hovered over the field of battle.

Tyrant had succeeded in poisoning but not before a foe would Confuse him. his attempt at a Venom Drench missed and he hit himself in the process. steering into a little coral reef, he hit his head.

Primarina would react to her friend's condition over her own. a Life Dew shot out, restoring some health to the Toxapex and herself.

"if you insist."

Siobhan would glance around, noticing the Kalosian drink stand this time. seeing as her battle partner was indeed from Kalos - if she did not mistake the accent - she would appreciate a treat from home.

"do you have recommendations?" the blue haired woman asked Evette, pointing at the various Kalosian treats.

her Pokémon knew what to do. Tyrant would unleash Toxic, a seeping purple mass from it's body trying to inflict Poison on the nearest Pokémon it could get to.

meanwhile, Selkie would use Moonblast on the Greninja, having an actual target. Tyrant didn't seem to give a shit what he could poison first, as long as he could have a hearty meal afterward for a job well done.

he was eyeballing the sushi bar from here.

while the Ghastly was being electrocuted, Siobhan would plan accordingly. "Shadow Ball again." the energy shot toward the Pikachu, who was too busy dealing with the other ghost.

combined with the damage already done to it, and the shaking off of the frozen status... well, it did not stand a chance. "no worries" Siobhan would say to Evette breezily, waving it off.

the Pikachu would also faint. they were declared the winners. the blue haired woman would recall her Pokémon from the battle. "let's get a drink" she suggests "a non-alcoholic one." was that a thin, amused smile?

"Shadow Ball."

Froslass darted back as the Riolu looked both confused and flustered by the Draining Kiss. before it had a chance to respond, the sphere of darkness shot toward it. the Riolu was down for the count. it did not get back up.

"only the Pikachu left" she murmurs as Evette focused on it. the Ghastly was doing it's best, so she held her Froslass back and waited for Evette to finish it off.

the Sucker Punch would hit true, dealing more damage before the Pikachu could attack. thankfully the Frozen status worked to their advantage. the Riolu would try to shake out of Confusion and attack, going for the Froslass.

it aimed a Force Palm at the ghost, who giggled eerily when the attack did not hit. the typing made the Riolu gasp as its fist went through the Froslass. Yuki would lean forward, using Draining Kiss.

Siobhan had no reservations against Evette. to think she would feel flustered or awkward around the young woman now was foolish. it had been one of those nights, they all drank a bit too much. she had her own demons to worry about without wondering.

"Blizzard" she calls out, focusing entirely on the battle. the Pikachu shot forward with another Volt Tackle, managing to inflict some damage on her Froslass before the move was done. an ice cold storm came from the ghost.

and effectively Froze the Pikachu in their tracks. "now!" Siobhan calls out to Evette "let's take it down while it cannot move!"

her Toxapex and Primarina were posed for combat. Siobhan placed the breathing tube in her mouth as she readied the other parts of her Scuba Gear. she gave a thumbs up to her opponent before sloshing her way into the depths. hopefully he'd follow.

she agreed to the underwater battle because it was an experience. but that did not mean she would be a pushover; Tyrant was easily nasty in his natural habitat, the Shiny Toxapex eager to begin.
