"Thank you, Tyrant" she said to her Toxapex before noticing the situation they were all in. the blades of earth rise from the depths. she orders Dragapult to fly back so she can survey the situation. in the chaos of everyone's objections and objectives, one thing is clear; the volcano will erupt if not dealt with.

"we attack" Siobhan says to her Pokemon, ordering them to go for the nearest Blade. in a swift motion, she'd call out her Corviknight. Poe would use Steel Wing to try and clip the earthy pillar down "now" she adds to Dragapult, who would use Hydro Pump on the same one "protect us." she adds to Toxapex. he shot up a Protect just in case.

Tyrant would shrilly coo, his attack not reaching the Starmie at all. this sent him into a near frenzied state, his need to poison itching closer to obsession. he sent a Venom Drench next, hoping to cut down at least something from the Starmie.

it would be a show of stats. Selkie was hit dead-on with Extrasensory, causing her to Growl lowly at the ninja frog. her eyes narrowed, focusing entirely on him as she shot forward into the water.

the Hail would bicker at her team, wearing down their health. she pondered her options before unleashing orders. Sinistea would rotate to the right, floating to allow Poe his chance to shine.

"Brave Bird."

the Corviknight would shoot toward the nearest foe, which was the Glaceon. unfortunately at the contact, Poe would suffer recoil damage as a result. but the attack was almost brutal if need be.

a good pinch in any situation.

a pause at the inquiry though. "just a one on one, thank you" she added with a nod, taking a sphere at random from her belt. releasing it, a Flapple would appear before her. the tiny dragon looked a bit anxious.

the young man would give her the first move. Morinji-no-okama was first, the middle one. it would use Protect immediately, shielding the others on it's team. Siobhan inclined her head to Mars, indicating.

that is why Siobhan is cautious in big events like this. though she did not know this man was an ex-rocket, she did not let down her guard. approaching him, she smiles thinly.

"fancy a battle?" she was already pulling out her Spiritomb's Pokeball.

Siobhan approached, dipping her head politely. "Melody Miro, was it?" a pause "I was at your concert on the beach." no doubt the event would bring up some memories in the coming weeks.

a hand placed upon her breast. "I am Siobhan Burke" introductions were in order, yes? "would you honor me with a battle?"

she had a few wins, but only one loss. was this the start of a more... devoted training regime? was it a sign she had been doing her job as a trainer correctly? she did not seem to care openly, having no formal ego.

Siobhan approached the first person she didn't know. "hello" she tries to be polite about this "would you care to battle?" eyes met, the dice cast... she had to find more opponents.

Tyranitar fell. she was the victor. Siobhan huffs a gentle sigh, her eyes clouding briefly as she recalls Lorelai but then brightened a bit in surprise. "we can have one any time I am not busy." regarding rematches.

but, he did offer to pay for food... "very well" Siobhan replies to Killian Decker. it would be quite rude to refuse such an offer, especially from a boss of hers "I know a rather quiet little café. it will be easier to talk there."

and she would lead him there, leaving the sands of the beach behind.

a few more hits should do the trick. Siobhan noticed KILLIAN DECKER's Pokémon slowing even further but this time did not issue an order to Lorelai.

the cotton fairy took the initiate to shoot a Moonblast, parting the flamethrower's path and trying to hit the Tyranitar dead-on.

"actually, a rotation battle sounds entertaining."

Siobhan would take her place on 'stage', the tournament providing plenty of them for every trainer to occupy. as she pondered her choices for the match, she let Martín del Mar pick first.

"loser buys drinks."

a final compensation for battling it out in this ungodly heat.
