despite being Galarian, she did not have much preference for tea. she took the offered drink gratefully, pulling it close and choosing to sip before replying. the Oran berry smoothie restored some lost stamina at once.

"I prefer milk or bubble tea" Siobhan would say to Giona "but I doubt it has the same amount of vitamins" a weak little chuckle "and it's quite hard to find any milk tea made authentically. the same could be said for bubble tea."

spotting a free table, she gestures to it. "let's sit down for a bit, shall we? I feel like I've done nothing but stand up during these bouts."

"very well."

though he had lost, Siobhan had a mind to at least get him a drink for the effort he put in. but she would not force the issue if he could pay for his own. she smiles politely at the young man before following, giving a slight shake of her head when he offered her the towel.

how kind of him, but not required. true, she tanned and burned rather easily, but she had applied sunscreen before leaving for the beach. Siobhan had faith it'd work. reaching the vendor, she would order an oran berry smoothie.

as she waited for Giona to order, she realized he had fallen silent. "I ordered something different this time, but I do like the tropical drinks..." she suggests quietly.

Siobhan had a preference for ghosts and fairies. even dragons were warming up to her. "I will keep that in mind" she says as she recalls her Dragonite after winning the double battle "thank you for the match, Giona." she adds a bit warmly.

any Rocket who actually took care of their Pokémon instead of using them as tools was good in her book. "let me treat you to a drink, at least" Siobhan adds, gesturing to the vendors below them.

two out of three was Vic's result. Siobhan watched from the starting line as it all unfolded.

the Outrage was losing power, so Selkie took the opportunity to use Moonblast again on the Dragonite. but that was after she Flinched due to the Zen Headbutt. the Runerigus groans again as the offending dragon clings to him with all three heads. Runestone twists on the spot and uses Brutal Swing to come crashing down.

meanwhile, the Spiritomb was unaffected by the Outrage. it remained relatively healthy compared to Siobhan's other Pokemon. he uses Shadow Ball again - hey it works! - on the Bagon.

the proverbial horn sounded, alerting them of the battle's end. perhaps whoever was spectating, judging, saw the two Dragapult at their end. it was cruel to push them further. the flag went to Siobhan, she was the victor.

the woman blinked once before tipping her head, eyes closing. a more controlled and humble expression than some winners. "thank you, Lich" she says to the dragon, recalling him back to his Pokeball "you did very well."

she pockets the sphere back to her belt. there had been a look of shock as Lich viewed the other dragon. though not there to be friends or even equals, just battle partners, the gesture was returned with an awkward tilt of his head.

"I thank you for the battle, Amor." Siobhan would go on to the man.

Lich seemed pleased to have taken out a legendary.

the Dragapult zooms around on the spot in celebration, trilling. Siobhan could not help but chuckle, but that turns into a warning as the ball is spiked at their feet. Lich forgets where he is - but she isn't mad at him.

"don't sell yourself short" she says to Zac "you're still ahead of us." the Dragapult retrieves the ball glumly and serves it back. he tosses it into the air and smacks it with his tail, aiming for the remaining Pokemon.

win or lose; her Pokémon were getting experience from this. Siobhan tried to crack a smile - be it too awkward to call a real one - at Zac's 'comeback' statement. he was still up by two points, even if the Tapu Bulu bounced it back to them. Lich saw his moment to shine.

he zipped forward, headbutting the ball back over the next. whether it hit or missed wasn't important. Siobhan saw real joy on her Pokémon's faces. that was enough for her to get back into it. she readied herself for retaliation, just in case.

Aftermath hits, causing the Dragonite to yowl in alarm and pain. "Thunderbolt" Siobhan would call to Tiamat. one Pokemon was down; one more had to go. she would see this fight to the very end, win or lose. the dragon unleashed it's stored power in the form of lightning, seeking the remaining Pokémon; the avian.

not as strong as it's evolved form, the Drifloon would crash with the Air Slash's hit. but Aftermath hit the pigeon before Siobhan could recall her Pokémon. it more or less floated into the Pokeball's light. "thank you" she says conversationally "I just received him in a trade; I felt this battle would do a good job of seeing his potential."

this time, Vic's Pokemon were effective in their moves. call it bad luck or what have you, but they stepped up now. Runerigus still Slammed along, almost unbothered by the Crunch. he moans eerily but soldiers on.

in order to protect the Spiritomb, Selkie uses Moonblast against the Outraged Dragonite. she hopes to make him pause in his assault. or at least make him go against the fairy-type, wherein his moves would be null.

but she'd cry out when the Bagon went against her. Spiritomb retaliated for his protector, giving another Shadow Ball to the Bagon. if it worked once, maybe it'd work again.

"Phantom Force."

fight fire with fire. the last hurray of a battle between two strong dragons. Lich would zip into the astral plane, trying to avoid being hit. if he did, he tried to power through until the move was completed and he could prove that Siobhan was a strong trainer.

he cries out, either in pain or exhilaration, as he reappears and lashes out at the other dragon. it was his fault for the suffering. he had wanted to battle until the very end. now, as it reached a climax, he didn't regret a thing.

they were losing, but that was fine. Siobhan was... actually having a good time. though she would never admit it to anyone. the lackadaisical way of battling was far more relaxing than she gave it credit for.

the Protect did it's job, and she flailed as the ball came soaring at them. it hit the dirt, causing Gravedigger to retrieve it. he'd serve back, using his powerful palms to try and spike - for an easy scoring point.

clapping her flippers together when she hit the Dragonite, Selkie would then shoot a Hydro Pump at the Dragonite. she felt it was a good, big target to keep offending. Runestone would use Slam, jumping into the air and hoping his 'jump' would put some distance between him and the starting line.

if another Pokémon got in the way, they'd be flattened somewhat or even felt the waves from impact. Dybbuk was quick to retaliate on the Runerigus' behalf, hit by Flamethrower but not bothered much due to its Ground-typing. ghosts stuck together! the Spiritomb shot a Shadow Ball at Bagon.
