Zac's Kingler's attack was a bit easy to hit back. perhaps the powerful crab was still getting used to the abilities it possessed? either way, Siobhan was ready with retaliation.

"Gravedigger!" she says to the Dusknoir, who would hit the ball back to the other side of the court. whether it was powerful enough to take one of them out remained unknown. it looked strong; but one never knew.

she would release her Litwick.

the Shedinja was a welcomed addition to her budding team, yet she had to capture it first. the candle Pokémon unleashed a fury of fire-based attacks against the weaker ghost, causing it to burn painfully on the spot. it cries lowly out before -

she throws a Pokeball at the ghost insect. engulfing the dimly lit mountain in light, the Shedinja disappears into the sphere. all there was left to do... was wait for the click. or the escape. Siobhan is patient.

which is why this job was fascinating to her. which is why any job involving ghosts and spooks did. legends and myth were one thing, but seeing it first hand... t'was valuable to her curiosity.

the Dreepy would indeed return, dragging with it a stray Gastly. the impudent ghost would lock eyes with the humans before snarking. the huge tongue rolled from it's mouth and it cackled.

"one mystery solved" she would remark to Killian as Dreepy let go of Gastly. the ghost floated about their heads, not at all put out at the discovery. it was a wild one; maybe it slipped into the submarine by accident.

Siobhan was a bit disappointed there was nothing more to it than that. she would begin to pull out a spare Pokeball, ready to capture and release it on the surface.

"I like them enough."

Siobhan liked the fact she got some trading done from the pursuit of them, more than likely. "I prefer ghosts and fairies" she shrugs as she pays the vendor, turning to Jayden to take the drink "and no - I have always... been too engrossed in work to really focus on battle."

if she had a talent for it, it was news to her. though the wins did a little boost to confidence. "of course" Siobhan agrees to a rematch with a curt nod "when I am less consumed with work. the Tournament has brought out a much more violent side of me, I admit."

she gestured to a free spot with benches empty. void of people. "come, let's sit down" Siobhan suggests to him, beginning to walk to the location "we can talk more there, if you like." but she would not care if Jayden simply vanished from her presence.

to each their own, even if she felt comfortable speaking to him. if he followed, they could comment further. if he left, no harm.

"yes" she says to his query, giving a slight incline of her skull "I caught quite a few Dratini there" a wry smile before additional words "if you want to, I will not say no." but there was no need to pay her back for anything.

Jayden had given her experience in battling. she had to be tougher, train stronger Pokémon and look at things from all angles. "thank you for the battle, by the by" she adds honestly enough "you were a worthy foe; I am sure Selkie gained perspective."

ordering for herself first, she'd let Jayden tell the vendor his item. a pineapple smoothie for her was all she really needed right now. it was refreshing and healthy.

Siobhan would recall Selkie, thanking her for a job well done. "your tactics are strategic" she compliments Jayden "wherein mine... I just caught my Primarina. we need to train more." which is to say, it was damn lucky that they had even won.

hooking the Pokeball onto her belt, she adds into her words. "we shall" gesturing for Jayden to follow, she would hop off the stage and approach the drink vendor. "I won, but this is my treat." she looks expectantly at the man as he decided his order.

it was not wise to just take something you just find. the grass-ghost was doing no harm, watching over the graveyard from it's solitary position near some tombstones. it watched as she passed it by; the woman lifting a hand to wave idly.

perhaps it fancied itself a guardian? ghosts often did. nonetheless she would walk by it, not disturbing the rest it brought to Mt. Pyre. unaware it was watching for her long after she was gone, the tree ghost shuddered back to stillness.

before all the shit hit the fan, the tournament was raging and she was nearby. might as well go look at Mt Pyre while she was there. having an affinity for ghosts and spooks, Siobhan would search for some more to add to her roaster. she had almost enough even for her, but more was good. best be prepared for anything.

as she entered the mountain graveyard, she rounds the large building that housed the sexton's business. her heels crunch foliage as she walks, her eyes searching and expectant. something had to be here, surely. among the graves and the misty atmosphere...

Lich was slowing down.

she could clearly see it in his face. his weariness and pain. but the Dragapult would shake it off, shooting Siobhan a pained smirk instead with a shake of his head. even as Sucker Punch hit and he growled in fury, he stood tall.

"are you sure?" she asked him quietly, wondering if he was going to go until exhaustion claimed him. he trills, nodding. she had no reason not to concede but the dragon was proud - like all dragons. "very well."

she would paused briefly before uttering a command. "U-Turn."

a high priority move. Lich shot forward, knowing he could not be recalled in a single battle. but the speed would make it difficult to dodge or retaliate. he aims for the other Dragapult before he'd zip back to Siobhan's front.

the unwelcomed slap from the Inkay woke up the siren. her eyes shot open, a look of shock and pain in equal turns. she retaliated by instinct, not waiting for Siobhan to issue an order. a Moonblast shot toward the offending Pokémon. it was an attempted direct hit.

Siobhan watched as perhaps this would be the end of the battle. the Inkay had taken a lot of hits, and now it was confused. if it didn't shake that, it would hinder the battle on it's behalf. "might as well take advantage of it, yes."
